Check outwww.pandora.com
My SO uses it all the time. You let it know what artist you like and it customizes a playlist for you based on similar sounding music. |

I use SafeShare.com. I think I paid $14, but I've only paid that once and I have unlimited music downloads...I've used it for about 2 years and love it - never had a problem. (I only paid the $14 once)
Do you have a favorite radio station that streams live music? That's what I do at work. I love the station and the music they play.

OMG, that thing is awesome!!! Thanks for sharing the link, lol. Do you know if it's an all free thing or do they start charging at some point?
mithai, yes, there are many free programs out there, like napster used to be. But before using them, you must understand that you are downloading music that is not technically legal (thus knowing the consequences that may follow). That said, some programs are Limewire, BearShare and MANY MANY MORE. |

My boyfriend says that eventually they will ask you to register, but that registration is absolutely free. |

I am loving that Pandora site. It has some great songs on the playlists. The only thing that sucks about it is that it won't let you skip too many songs in a row because of their license agreements. Oh well. I'll have to play around with it some more and see what other stations I can find on the site.
Here's another good site for free music downloads www.limewire.com |

I usually use Bearshare or Limewire. Never have had a problem, and I have a very large catalogue of music. |

I really like rhapsody , but you have to pay for it to have special features. I have the unlimited, which costs I think $10-14 a month, but it was given to me as a gift. LOL --I'd never pay that! |
