Since I was a teenager I've always had this tumor-like callus on my right feet right next to the ankle. Its not really big, but it is noticeable. Ive always thought of as nothing, but just now IM starting to realize how much Ive had it and maybe that it could be something else? I did see a doctor about it when I was younger, and he told me exactly that HE THOUGHT it was a callus. He wasnt really sure. Then again, he was no foot expert and just recommended that I get one of those scraping little pads, and to do it everytime after I shower. Well, I can tell you that I tried it for a week-religiously- and it got to the point that I was scraping and blood was starting to show up. I thought how can I scrape if I cant go any further without injuring myself? Is thsi normal? I keep thinking I may have to have surgery to remove it. Ive never gone and seen a real doctor and talked about it seriously. I Just dont know what to do about it. I looked online for calluses and they look nothing like what I have. I really am at lost... Crying or Very sad

hon, if you draw blood exfoliating it, go see a foot doctor!

i have no idea what it could be, but you should get a professional to check it out for you, if only to give you peace of mind.

If it's on the sole of the foot, it might be one of those ingrown wart things - plantar warts I *think* they're called?

I had one when I was kid and it had to be surgically removed - I'm surprised I can remember all those decades back Laughing Laughing

If you were my daughter I would recommend you see a Podiatrist ASAP to rule out anything serious. Feet trouble can lead to other just annoying issues (unable to wear shoes=can't work or play) etc.
