I think I need to start stashing up some multi-purpose creams in my arsenal in case of things like burns, cuts, scrapes, bruises. Arnica is already on my list but now I'm getting confused between getting a Calendula Cream or an Aloe Vera Cream/Gel. Whenever I read the descriptions of both types of products I find their purpose to be more or less similar and both have moisturizing, soothing and healing properties. But which one should I get and which one is the best for what? I'm hoping that it can also serve as a nice moisturizer for my legs which can get quite dry during the winter.
I think a lot of you have these products in your arsenal already so would love to hear opinions in how you use them and what you use them for and whether I should get the Calendula, Aloe Vera or both.

I have Lily of the Desert Aloe Vera Gel. It works great for burns and as a general moisturizer. |

I have both at hand in my medical cupboad.
I like the Clalendula for soothing dry cracked winter skin, especially on my hands or for when I have suffered a cold and have dry sore skin around the nose area.
Aloe Vera I always use for rashes, burns and anything that needs cooloing and soothing. |

I like the Aloe for burns etc. The Candendula for moisture. But I have dry skin so Aloe wouldn't cut it for me to moisturize with. |
