I have this vision of 'Cousin It' from the Munsters.
Does anyone know why it's supposed to be applied at night? ( hehehehe guess what the postman brought me???)
La vie - I sent you a pm with some names that have JM in stock. |

Yay! I love it when I see more people buying the product. It's such a fun + amazing product. I hope you love it too!
I think it's suppsed to be applied at night to ensure that it absorbs completely (no sweat/tears fingers etc. getting in the way) and stays (doesn't bleed down eye area and cause some crazy growth) in place before it absorbs. I tried using it 2x in 24 hours for about 2 weeks because I got greedy and noticed no difference in growth, so I guess the 1x 24 hours usage provides max growth, and recommending night time usage is to just unsure product absorbance. |

it's a shame to waste such a good product on your eyebrows.... i'd recommend you at least try it on your lashes. several of us had used it with no problem or side effecys whatsoever.... it's your choice. |

I was thinking exact same thing !! for those wanting to stretch their supply out, I use this about 2-3x's a week, results still lasting, and on off nites I coat lashes in vasiline!!! This is working great for me. I've had no shedding (praying this continues)!!! |

I have been using the JM lash serum for 9 weeks & I can't believe how long my lashes are. I went to Sephora last week & as she was about to put the Boujouis wet lash product on my lashes she asked me if I was wearing eyelash extensions!!! I was absolutely elated. I wasn't even wearing any mascara that day. I use to have short, sparse, and thin lashes, but now they are sooo long. Thank you EDS for your recommendation. I definitely recommend this product! This truly is the first time that I've used a product that exceeded my expectations. |

Hi Leidon, welcome to EDS!
My lashes currently are pretty short, sparse and thin and I am one of the unlucky ones that couldn't get my hands on any Jan Marini before it sold out! Ack!
Anyhow, I'm curious - you said your lashes are really long, but have you actually grown more lashes (has the fringe filled out?). Also, what about the diameter of the new lashes - are the individual lashes still thin or have they actually gotten thicker? (Not sure if you can tell.) I know some girls have reported that their lashes also got darker and started to curl - has that happened to you?
If I could go from short, sparse, thin, straight, blonde lashes to long, full, thick, curled, dark lashes, I'd be the happiest girl in the sea! |

Remember that it’s not actually the diameter of each lash hair that gets fatter, but instead the fact that multiple hairs now sprout from each individual follicle that makes the lashes more thick and dense...at least that’s what most of us are experiencing.
I know when I measure one of my shed lashes (what, you don’t think I’m going to sacrifice and pluck a “live” lash just to put it up against the ruler, do you?!), they have more than doubled in length (5-6mm when I started to 12-14mm now) but they certainly don’t LOOK any thicker around the middle...but I’m not certain how one would go about measuring the diameter of a lash hair, anyway! At least don’t look to me to come up with a formula because mathematics is most definitely not my strong suit – I can balance my checkbook and figure out when someone owes me money (!) but show me an algebraic formula or a geometry questions – never MIND calculus! – and I’ll start sucking my thumb, rocking back and forth and crying like a baby.... |

OMG, the visual on that is just so dang funny! And what's even funnier is that that's the exact why I react when when I try to go beyond simple math!
I used to tell my college statistics professor that math made me feel like Homer Simpson in that episode where they show thought bubbles above all the family members' heads - Bart is thinking about pranks, Lisa is thinking about something complicated like saving the world, and Homer's thought bubble shows one monkey picking fleas off another one's back! But I must admit you've got one over on me ... I haven't balanced my checkbook in YEARS! |

OMG, don't even get me STARTED on college "sadistics" (sic) professors! Mine called me "stupid" during an open lecture, whereupon my big mouth came to my rescue and retorted, perhaps it wasn't my lack of grey matter but the incompetence of the professor that was preventing me from grasping the concepts -- except it was a bit more colorful than that.... |

Regarding shipment outside North America: I think this is because JM is already sold through spas locally in other countries.
There are many lines (like Kerastase) that have rules on where they can ship. I found a few stores in the UK that were cheaper than US (even with shipping) but couldn't send to north america.
And I spoke to 4 spas in the U.K. that either have JM in stock or were receiving shipment yesterday. |
