I bought it! I can't wait to get it. I just hope I am getting the real thing...ebay...but over 1,000 100% feedback. I really hope I get the great results most of you have had, my lashes have really been thinning out and castor oil alone has not been doing the trick. |

I don't know the answer to that, but I've been applying to both lashlines. |

Some people only apply it to there top because they think that there lower ones are long enough, and they are worried about looking too "edward scissorhand" esque but me, I apply it to both because I want both as long as possible |

This thread is making me drool so much. I am currently using Marvala Double Lash and while it has conditioned my lashes they aren't any longer and definitely no new growth.
I have Ardell Lash thing waiting for me in the cupboard. If that doesn't work I am just going to have to grit my teeth and find out how to get it since I live in Australia. |

I just discovered JM eyelash serum info. I have used Talika and Mavala with unimpressive results. Very tempted to order the JM but is so EXPENSIVE!! Any before/after photos to view? Also, do you apply to base of lashes themselves--on the actual hairs or do you apply at the base of the eyelid on the actual skin? Does the manufacturer offer any guarantees? Return policy? |

i am on day 20....my results are somethings like this:
day 7: is that... maybe... i don't...
day 10: yeah...i think....hmmmm
day 15: okay, now there's no question. it looks like i have a bit of mascara on
day 20: i actually put mascara on (i usually don't wear it)....HELLO! looked like false eyelashes, but still kinda sparse, so looked like creepy false eye lashes.
can't wait to see what the next few weeks bring.
i did definitely notice the center of the lashes get fuller first, now i'm getting little ones on the inner and outer parts of the lid. before my lashes were so blonde and sparse that from a distance it kinda looked like i didn't even have any eyelashes. they are darker too, but oddly, the bottom ones are not getting darker. i took before pics so at some point i'll post em!
i still wanna know how you all can tell how much you have left in the tube, i can't see anything in there! and do you pull the plastic plug out to scrape out the last bits?
oh and i ordered from skinwest who had a generous return policy ~susan |

I got my JM last night! I'm not sure I am putting it on right...I put it on the top lashline, but it seems like i am not getting all the hair follicles underneath. But I'm afraid to put it there for fear of it getting in my eye. I really dislike that you can't see inside the bottle, I hope all the product is in there! OH, and does it typically come sealed? I got mine off ebay and the package wasn't in a clear plastic wrap or anything. |

blue i's--eds has a before and after picture in the jan marini product section and wenrwdy@aol.com took her own before and afters. check it out, her lashes are amazing! and there is a lot more discussion on the product as well.

copychick--thanks for the update, i am so excited to get mine!
thirtyish--from what i read in the postings, i think you apply the serum directly into all your lash roots. i haven't started using it myself, so any users here, correct me if i am wrong. |

Hi all,
I've been away for so long, there's so much to read!
I want to try this JM thing but a bit skeptical! I've tried Talika, Double Lash, Lash Masque, Lucia, nothing worked! I'm losing hope, don't think there's anything to help eye lashes grow! Now this, I want to try one more time but still skeptical (partly because of the price). I just need a little push from you ladies! Are you sure this JM lash thing will work ? |

You apply JM to your lashline: pretend you are applying eyeliner and that's how you apply the JM serum. You don't need to slather or saturate the area either. Just apply a small amount of serum, using the built-in brush to the little "groove" in your upper eyelid, directly above your lashline. If you apply it to the lash hairs themselves, you are merely wasting product.
Again, it's just like applying eyeliner! |

It really does work! It's amazing, you just have to give it a try, there are so many other convincing reviews on here |

just to add another rave for this stuff....
four years ago i got really really sick and pretty much lost all my lashes. to be honest, at the time, it was the least of my problems. it eventually started to bother me as i started to get better. taking supplements helped, but they were still rather pathetic. i then tried Talika, Mavala, Ardell, etc., and was able to get them looking almost acceptable. but, but, but, there was always one bald patch from where i first started losing them that *never* grew back. it's always bothered me because it's a daily reminder that i almost died. just not the first thing you want to confront as you're starting your day....
four weeks later, after starting the JM, i have stumps. bona fide eyelash stumps! NO bald spot anymore. i am so excited i can't stand it!!! what i wasn't able to do in four years using everything under the sun, JM did in four weeks! as for the rest of the lashes, they're lusher and longer, and, well, for the first time in my life -- i actually have decent lashes. (despite my thick thick hair and brows, my eyelash area was always sub-par.) so for anybody teetering on the edge about this product, it is sooooooooo worth it! if it worked for me (and i'm only a month in to it), i think it would help anybody.
i just cannot tell you how thrilled i am with my stumps (doing a little snoopy happy dance here)!!! okay, need to calm myself down now as this behaviour is totally unacceptable on the parisian streets. |
So glad that you have your eyebrows back again! I ws always one of those thick haired-thick browed no lsh girls too I always felt like I got ripped off not anymore!!! |

I got mine off of ebay too, it wasn't sealed or anything. I can't stand not being able to see inside of the bottle! I'm so paranoid that I will run out beofre re-ordering |

So have any of you had the horrible shedding that others are reporting? I will be REALLY bummed if i get any bald spots. My lashes have thinned but i don't have bald spots or anything, and if that happens i don't know if it will be worth it. But for now i'm giving it a go and can't wait until it's many weeks later. |

See below for information on the shedding process while using JM lash serum:

Also, I wanted to followup on a question that someone asked a while back about it seeming like she was losing twice as many lashes than seemed normal. Actually, I have found this to be true myself and have finally realized why after I had the opportunity to view my lash line up close in a 20x special magnifying mirror: what I saw was the fact that I now have 2-3 separate lashes sprouting from a single, separate lash follicle! Whereas, prior to my experiments with the JM lash stuff and my own homemade serum, there was just a single lash hair growing out of each separate follicle. What this means is that when the time comes in the growth cycle of your lashes when the old hair is shed so the new lash can sprout, the follicle is now expelling those 2-3 hairs per follicle so it seems like you are losing more lashes than you normally would as part of the natural shedding process.
Anyway, I hope this helps clear up some of the questions, confusion and myths about lash growth.... |
This shedding/purging process is a perfectly normal part of the lash growth cycle. You’re just noticing it more now because A) you are paying closer attention to the state of your eyelashes, and B) the JM lash serum has kick-started the growth cycle of your lashes so the turnover rate of shedding/purging old lashes is happening much quicker now. Any lashes that you do lose during this period will be replaced by 2-3 new lash hairs sprouting from each follicle in the future. |

Thanks ladies for all your wonderful reviews! I'm still skeptical a bit (after so many other products have failed me). I'm going to wait a bit longer, maybe another 4 weeks or so to see if any bad reviews might come up. Please please do share your experience, if it continues to work, please do say, if it stops working, please do say, I'm eagerly waiting to hear from all of you who just started using it.
Thanks so much! |

I ordered Ardell brow and LAsh acclerator from drugstore.com...at $2.39 a tube...I'll try it. I went to all my local pharmacies and they did not have Ardell. And drugstore.com is sold out, so it's backordered. Good Luck! |

Good, I stopped for a while, just got lazy and was over nights at the b/f's for a few weeks and kept forgetting to pack it. Just started it up again. I did start losing lashes on my right eye though and they're growing back. Oooh do take before and after pics. I took before pics but erased them in my digicam to make more room |

I promised myself I would not post anything about my results until I have used JM Eyelash for 3 months so I can back it up with pictures, but I would like to add my words of encouragement now. I have used it for 18 days now and I can definitely see a difference. Especially with my lower lashes. They look too long now when I apply mascara. Upper ones look longer too. Although I don't see the "holy crap" effect yet (I have not used to long enough, just long enough to see some change, according to the instructions), the product definitely works. My lashes are visibly longer. I cannot wait to see the results in 3 months. I took before pictures and I will post them and after pictures once I have used the product for 3 months. I had ok lashes to begin with so I am curious to see how long can they get. Also, I also wish I could see how much is left in the tube for when it's time to reorder (which I definitely will do). |
