I would be surprised if the Valmont does anything permanent or cumulative. Glacial water (really!! water with some minerals).
Both DNA and RNA (or fragments) are too large to be absorbed into the skin. 500 molecular weight is the largest size molecule that gets into the skin and at that weight a penetration agent is necessary. It may well give an initial WOW by tightening but for $400 every 2-3 months! Yikes!!!!
Remergent on the other hand has micro-incapsulated anti-inflammatory agents and an enzyme said to repair DNA. There is some external study work with it showing it heals precancerous leasions. It does not work right away (a bad thing to my mind because that shows it has to be working through a temporary mechanism). It does over weeks do more good things than I had expected. |
m, another fan of Remergent, i have to seriously think about my next purchase between Valmont and Remergent! |

I tried both the face cream and eye cream last night.
the facial one did a good job, although i didnt like the texture very much, but after applying on my face for a while, i can feel the cooling effect and something is working, maybe that's the DNA, which increase my blood circulation.
the eye cream, i dont know, i got up this morning with very puffery eyes, as usual. even though last night i treated myself with eye regenerating mask and the glacier cream! |

I totaly agree with your comment with the L'Elixir cream and eye cream. But it is too expensive. I know that Valmont has a new line called " Intensive Chrono Cellular Treatment", I wonder when we can order from EDS. |
You are right about the new product from Valmont called ICCT and I think EDS will be carrying it because they included a Valmont brochure on it with my last Valmont order. I can hardly wait for it. |

I did see that ICCT was available but fell off the chair when I saw the price. It may just be my xmas present to myself. The problem is I need supplies of a few other necessary products (cleanser, sunscreen, exfoliant) so I could easily exceed my customs limit which I don't want to do. I need some encouragement to treat myself and to hell with the price. |

I finally got hold of a sample of this and I'm totally relieved to say that my initial reaction is I'm not wowed at all I'll report back if I find I'm suddenly swooning with the sight of myself in the mirror, but at the moment I just feel and look sticky and it's accentuated my pores. |

- I asked for samples of the eye cream with my last order but EDS obviously didn't have any in at the time so I still haven't tried it. Like you Molly, I'm not sure whether I want to be wowed or not, my bank balance probably couldn't cope with the strain if I were! |

I have used the lélixir cream for eyes, and I am really happy with the results. After one jar I can see real improvements in the lines under my eyes and also my skin looks firmer. It is a pity I didn´t take pictures. I know everybody skin doesn´t react in the same way, but I think you can´t expect to get results in only one week.
My jar lasted for almost four months. When I received the cream, I distributed it among three containers, and I am not sure if it makes sense, but it may help to keep the cream in better conditions
I really think it is worth every penny |

Wow, thank you so much, it seems that I can't wait to try. Also a smart idea to seperate it into three jars, but I don't think I need to, I'm a fast user, two months for 15ml is just my normal speed, |

No I don't think you are too young to use this product. You are at the age when you should be looking at quality products to protect your skin. |

If you use good products now then you won't have too many issues when you are older. You can purchase a trial pack of Cellcosmet products which does include the eye cream and hopefully EDS may be able to provide you with a sample of the Valmont eye cream which is still good but not quite as expensive as the L Elixir eye cream.
You have to remember that samples really only give you the ability to test the product on your skin type to see if it suits your skin type, doesn't cause any reactions and absorbs well. You usually won't see results from samples. It is a shame that many good products are disregarded because negative posts are written based on only sample usage.
It took two months of daily use of L Elixir eye and face creams for me to really see the benefits. |

Thank you so much! I'm using Cellcosmet eye cream now, it's pretty good, good quality compared to the price, while no big difference happens, I don't believe anything can cure the problems which have already been there, they just hold the pace. I've tried a sample of Valmont eye and mouth contour cream, thicker but not as good as Cellcosmet for me, of couse, I mean the sample. I'm thinking to purchase some Cellcosmet day and night cream recently, do you think I should start with the sensitive line? Thanks again! |
