a) Pre-Shower?

b) During the shower?

c) After you shower?

Just wondering what the best time is to maximize the benefit.

If im having a shower or a bath it has to be after washing my hair because i don't like mixing the shampoo with the cleanser and your face stays soft .

I wash my face at the end of my shower, because I have a wonderful showerhead filter that brings the water's pH level closer to the skin's pH level and filters out all of the nasty pesticides and chemicals. I think that if you don't have chlorinated water, do it in the shower because you can get a deeper clean with the water shooting directly at your face Very Happy and if you do it at the end, the moisture in the air throughout your shower helps to steam your pores. but of course, don't use hot water.

I wash my face during the shower, after washing my hair. Just because it's convenient!

If I'm showering, after I was my hair. I heard that one should do so to get rid of any residue left behind by shampoos or conditioners which can lead to breakouts.

I tend to leave washing/cleansing the face as a last step.

I usually wash my face first thing in the shower out of habit more than any other reason - after reading these posts I think I'll start doing it after I wash my hair!

Ditto

But most times (if I am not in a hurry) I wait until after I am out of the shower (I leave my face damp and dry the rest of my body then wash my face at the sink). This works better when using homemade DHCC.

i usually do first thing when i wake up (if im not immediatly taking a shower) cause i find when i dont do anything after waking up, my skin seems to get worse the longer i delay washing my face. when i do it in the shower i do it in the middle, after i wash my hair and allowing enough time for my pores to be open

Normally, I would wash it before I finish off my shower and before I go to bed. Then I apply my night routine balms etc. After I wash my face, I always put a toner (keep it in the fridge to keep it cold).

I always wash my face before I exfoliate or put any facial mask on it.

I triple cleanse Very Happy

Cleanse once in the morning. Then use a makeup remover followed by a normal cleanser.

I usually cleanse after shampooing but before conditioning to save time. I don't think it matters when you cleanse as long as you do it well.

I always cleanse my face after my shower. In the morning I shower and then cleanse straight away. In the evening, if I'm wearing makeup, I do sometimes worry about steam causing pores to open up, and cause makeup to clog my pores, once I step out and my face drys, but I prefer to cleanse just before bed.
