hello everyone, my skin is oily/combination, usually every month i got one or two pimples on my forehead,i can't help myself squeezing it and now they left marks on my face.
i would appreicate,if someboday can recommend, the best product they have ever used for the acne scars yet without drying out or damaging the skin. thanks very much in advance! |

Hello,
best home remedy -apply yoghurt (natural set live not the runny kind) mixed with pinch of turmeric powder. Preferably with a dash of honey, lime juice and rose water (but not necessary). Infact, even the turmeric is not necessary.
Product which I have used to make scars disappear is Decleor's Prolagene. It is very good! |

I find natural yoghurt better than milk (even though it is derived from milk). I have heard that yoghurt also lessens sun-burn.
The turmeric is anti-septic and also brightens the skin. Yoghurt has lactic acid (not sure if more than milk) which exfoliates the skin. Honey is to moisturise, rose water is calming on the skin, lime is a natural bleach (which is also in the yoghurt...so could leave it out). |

how often do you have to apply the remedy before you see any results? |

if you apply once everyday for 7days, you should notice some difference and then decide for yourself. |

sorry I misunderstood your question - I thought you were referring to the home remedy...to which i said would be 7 days and you can see the difference.
For prolagene, it depends on the scar tissue - how long and how deep it is. It is definitely effective but cannot tell how long you will see the difference. |

so the home remedy is more effective? |

i think both are effective. I do not always have time to do the home remedy. However, if i don't do the yoghurt thing regularly (i.e 2-3times a week), i notice the difference i.e face may not glow as much. I use Decleor masks atleast once a week if not twice. Think all of my routine helps towards a glowing skin.
As a rule of thumb, i use prolagene more on my body and sometimes on my face. If you click on the decleor or EDS website, you will find what prolagene can do. It does do what it says.
Hope this helps and i have not rambled too much. |

i'm using rosehip oil now..it can help with lightening or removing scar
but i've only used it for a week now so it's too early to tell whether it will only lighten or remove
vit c serum should also help lightening scar..have u tried apply vit c serum daily? it might take some time b4 u see results but it probably should help |

Vitamin C serum, and vitaminc A acid (Retin A). I find that products that contain exfoliating ingredients will do the job too |

I'm currently using Cellex-C also. I find that it helps with the brightening and the firming of my skin.
For acne scars, I recommend the Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel and Neutrogena Acne Mark Fading Peel. |

You just have to ask them. Now you can test out both versions of the Juice Beauty Peel (sensitive and regular) before ordering from EDS. |
