I cannot decide between the 2 brands. I would like all opinions from people who have used one or both and which they prefer. I am looking to firm/lift/tighten my skin and maybe diminish some wrinkles also. I am currently using Prevage MD in the morning, as well as Murad essential C eye and face cream. Definitely want to continue these products, so would be looking for something for night time and/or alternating the products. Anyway, all opinions wanted! Thanks in advance. |

Hi rileygirl,
my experience is limited with these brands, but here we go:
Amino Genesis: I have the tripeptinon and LOVE it. But I must say I do not use it every day, so cannot comment on the true firming effect. I like to use it at night after my Active Serum or after a peel. I was going to buy the cleanser but the ingredients put me off and I have my Remergent DNA Repair so felt no need to try/buy photolagen.
Janson Beckett: I bought a pack with their ADCE, Prep, Okusil and also got the eyelid serums. I hated prep and ADCE sorry to say.. the texture was awful and it never seemed to sink into my skin, rather just sat on top and I could ball it off by the afternoon. Okusil did nothing to float my boat either.. nothing bad, but nothing good. Gave that to hubby but he did not like the texture. I got tired of the eyelid ampules (but they were good at releiving crepiness) so gave them to hubby who had some eyelid issues and they worked nicely for him. We ended up using all the ampules, but the other 3 went to the rubbish with a good 50% left in them. Expensive garbage day that was.
For firming, my new attack plan is facial exercise. I got the Facial Flex but just have to motivate myself into a routine with it. Once I get around to reading up how the ladies are going with their other facial contraptions, i might buy one of those too. |

I have used both, and am currently still using ameno genesis, on occasion. I use cps, and if I recall they can't be used together, but I still use it around my eyes. I stopped using the night eyes premeir (copper) after molly said she didn't have much faith in them. I take her word and didn't see why I would waste my time using it.
As far as the alphaderma, it was okay. My favorite thing was the vit. c and the prep I think. I don't have any wrinkling yet except for fine lines around my eyes so I don't know if it helped with them, and as far as skin tone, which some say it helps, I didn't notice. It is a great moisturizer though. Oh, and as far as the okusil? can't say it did anything. It sure as hek didn't absorb very well I can say that for sure. |
