I love walking into a room with a wonderful smell. I've been using the B&B Wallflowers, which are nice, but I'd prefer to pick the scents to suit my mood or to set a mood. Is anyone doing this? I don't know how to get started with the oils. I don't leave candles burning if I leave the room, so I was thinking oils and an electric diffuser of some type. Any suggestions for a beginner? TIA!

You can get little terracotta lightbulb rings. You pour a little oil in the groove and place the ring over the lighbulb as you install it. When you switch the light on, the terracotta ring heats up and releases the scent. HTH

You can buy electric diffusers at aromatherapy stores. I got mine locally, but they accept orders online too - www.escents.ca
My bf also asked me I don't just use those plug-in air fresheners that come with an oil in a jar (you can just pour out, wash and replace with an oil you like). You could have a look at those, not too sure if the caps on those containers that hold the scents are removable, but it's a thought.

Just be careful. Some pure esscential oils are flammable, so it's best to dilute them. I will put a couple of drops of pure oils onto a cottonball, and tuck them into hidden spots in the room. (My plants, behind desk top picture frames, on the backs of shelves.)

How do I know if I'm buying a quality EO? Does anyone have a favorite website to buy from?
