My hair has seemed dry at the ends lately after blow drying. Nothing I have seemed to smooth them out (I have about 3 different leave-ins and none seemed to do the trick), and even after deep conditioning they were not to my liking. I hate it when they feel even the least bit crispy. So I bought a Neutrogena product I'd had my eye on: Triple Moisture Silk Touch Leave-in Cream. I love the Triple Moisture line and hoped this would be a winner. And, well, it is.
I've had the Fekkai glossing cream in a small size, which I liked (I loved the smell, which I'd describe as 'expensive smelling.'). I wasn't over the moon about it, though, so I never bought the full size. And I'm glad I didn't because this stuff works just as, if not better than, the Fekkai. They both have olive oil, meadowfoam, and UV filters. Both can be used on dry or damp hair. I use the Silk Touch both before and after I blow dry, and my ends are smooth and not crispy. In my opinion, this stuff makes my hair smoother than the Fekkai did -- the effects seem to be longer lasting. It doesn't smell as nice, but I think the nicer price ($7 for 6oz) makes up for it. (And between you and me, I thought the Fekkai was kind of greasy and just sat on my hair when I used it after blow drying; this stuff seems to sink in.)
Another product I've been loving that girls with thick hair prone to snarliness (like me) might like is Redken Clear Moisture detangling spray. I spray this all over before combing and it really helps . If I hit a knot I'll spray it and it'll comb right out. Smells fantastic as well. |

I tried the Neutrogena Triple Moisture Hair mask last week (it was suggested by an EDS member) and I am thrilled with the results. I have been using kerastase chrome hair mask ($60) and Pantene hair mask ($4) and I love them both but the results I got with Neutrogena blew these other two away. I will give their leave in a try now...based on your recommendaion. I like my hair to be very conditioned...! Thanks for the post. |

I think it was probably me that suggested the Neutrogena mask. All in all, I really like the Triple Moisture line. The daily condish used to be my fave, but for some reason I strayed and bought some different products. They're more expensive but they don't work as well. So when they run out, I'll switch back to good ole Neutrogena. |
