There are tiny bumps under (mostly) and around my eyes. Does anyone know how to get rid of them? Someone told me it's because of make up and eye cream.

hi xzou, my daughter (7years old) gets tiny white bumps under her eyes also, I have been told they are calcium deposits but no one as yet has know how to remove them. There is no way my daughter would let me pick at them to remove them!

Shirley,
Thanks! I got them since I was little too. I don't think picking them would get rid of them. I wonder if there is any cosmetic outpatient surgery to get rid of them. Or maybe I should just leave it alone because it's not too noticeable. Though it bothers me once a while.

I think what you're describing is called milia. If you use the search function you'll find there have been some earlier discussions about it. I don't have any advice myself because I've never suffered from it.

I had milia on my eyes and had to go to a dermatologist to have them lanced. I tried to get rid of them for about 8 months before I gave up.

I never thought about seeing a dermatologist for that.
Thanks a lot for the tips.

At one time I had small bumps around my eyes...one even in the corner....don't know if they were the same you have, but I applied a warm compress a few times daily until they were gone.....it took about 2 days. Best wishes!

I had a similar experience and used raspberry/green tea bags soaked in warm water & pressed those around the area...healed up within about 2 days also. Chamomile is another tea that is good to try to help with inflammation.

Thanks for the idea of the warm compress. It doesn't work for me. I've had them since more than 20 years ago.

I think I'll take my daughter to a dermatologist, if what she has is milia it is quite noticable on her skin - thanks Olivia!

I have the same problem. I recently started using Dr. Copelands Rewind formulations and in 3 weeks there is a huge improvement.

Try going to your opthamologist (sp?) since the bumps are around your eyes. Good luck!

They sell the products at EDS under Dr. Copeland. I have been using the Rewind Eye and the Revitalizing formula with Vitamins C & E. First I use the Revitalizing formula. It is a spray and I make sure to put some on the bumps. Then I put the Rewind over that. The line is pricey - but it is really working. I used Cellcosmet prior to this and have loved it for the last 2 years, but it has not helped the bumps!!!

sniggi,
Thank you so much! I probably would try that.
However, I do have one concern though. Would it be problem spraying around the eyes? Do you have to close eyes really tight in order to do that?
Thanks again! This is really helpful.

Hi! I spray more around my cheek and then pull it into the area with my fingers. I do not put any on my upper lid - only where I have all of the tiny bumps. It is amazing - each day, I see less and less of them!!! Good luck!!

Thanks again! Sorry I keep asking you questions. I found the the two products you mentioned. Now I have another question: The Dr Michelle Copeland Revitalizing Formula with Vitamins C & E is said to be used after AHA Face Cream. Do you use the SkinMedica 15% AHA - BHA Face Cream or the Dr Michelle Copeland AHA Face Cream, or you don't use the AHA face cream at all?

Many thanks!

Hi again!! I just started using her products about 3 weeks ago and have not used the AHA yet - although I want to order it. I usually do not do well with AHA's - but her products seem unusually calming!!! I am using the pigment formula and the rewind night serum and am in love with those as well. I have sun spots and the Cellcosmet made my skin look beautiful but did not address the spots or the milia under my eyes. This line is really targeting those areas so far!!!!
