Hi Anna,
I hope you don't mind me bothering you it's just that you had mentioned before that you have had success previously reducing/fixing fine lines and wrinkles under your eye area with a TCA peel.
I did a 12.5% TCA peel a few days ago and did my under eye area as well as this was one of my main problem areas(mostly fine lines and a sort of cross hatched appearrance etched on the skin). I just wondered how long it took before you saw any improvment in the area. At the moment it is actually looking a little worse since the peel. I have not had any peeling from my TCA peel at all so I don't think I will get any under my eyes.
Did you find that it took a few peels to improve the under eye area or did it sort of get worse befpre it got better?
Just a bit worried about this at the moment but I suppose all I can do it wait and see but any thoughts would be great.

Wow! I am so sorry that I missed this original post before. What's even more ironic is that I am up right now even though it is 05:10 here I've been overseas for 4 weeks and am experiencing major jet lag and cannot sleep. 
My results with TCA 12.5% were cummulative. Each time it got better. After the first few times my undereye area looked a bit wrinkled and but then it got better. I didn't see a real difference until after the 4th or 5th time though. Keep in mind that you need at least 3 weeks in between peels to help build up your skins natural collagen, especially under the eye area. I did 2-3 layers with each TCA peel though so maybe this changes things since my results would be greater than with just one layer. Either way, I am pleased with my results. I have since started using 16% on my entire face also from Platinum Skin Care which to me is superior to all the other online TCA peel sellers. Their service and advice are excellent. I don't work for them or receive any discounts by promoting them either.  |
