I have oily skin and occasional but regular 3-4 bumps that break out so I just bought a load of Peter Thomas Roth products and would like to talk to someone who is experienced in using them. Can someone review my regimine for me please? I beg of your expertise! I plan on using the beta hydroxy acne cleanser in the evening with the conditioning tonic followed by the Ultra-Lite Anti-Aging Cellular Repair and also the power k™ skin brightener for blemish spots. In the morning I will use the blue gentle buffing beads, conditioning tonic, and bare essentilials skin revver upper before apllying my make up (bare minerals). I also will use the oxygen detoxifying masque once ot twice a week. Let me know what you thinkor if I shuld return any of this stuff to the store. Do I have too much? Obviously, I spent alot of money but I was desperate for results on my breakouts and reviewed PTR abnd realy liked the reviews. How do people use the power k™ skin brightener because it seems that many people have not purchased it. |

I don't know if this helps as I have not used the Power K brightener. I do have a bottle of the lightener.
I emailed PTR customer services a couple of months ago about how to use said lightener form some old scars on my face or should I get the brightener (I did not know much about either product, here in the UK only Space NK stocks PTR and have a limited product range, it's not possible to get anything with hydroquinine etc etc). Thank god I can now research online and get what I like on EDS for great prices.
PTR customer services said I should start with the lightener but alternate (i.e. not use a product with hydroquinine for more than 3 months in a row and then then switch to brightener and then start the cycle again). They interestingly said use the lightener in affected spots (for three months) but put the brightener all over your skin (for the subsequent three months) then start over. They said I could put either on my skin first and then layer with hyrdating lotion but make sure to let every layer dry first.
To be honest, I'm too lazy to faff about with cotton buds and layering so I have not really used my lightening fluid. And then religiously using sunscreen religiously every morning (issues with lighening products).
Maybe I should have got the brightener (which on its own supposedly brings results but slower) but I find my scars have faded a bit anyway, particularly with the new pads and making sure I use hydrating lotion *every* night as opposed to nights I could be bothered... |
