Ok, I have to admit, I'm a student/part-time worker and I cannot afford to pay $20 and up for a good sunscreen. Can anyone recommend a good mattifying one for under $20? I've been using Coppertone, which is oil-free but certainly no where near matte. Am I asking for something that just doesn't exist??
Thx
P.S. I'm very fair and freckle-prone, so the higher the SPF and more coverage, the better! |

I just recently ordered Solbar. Its only about $14USD and I got free shipping! Its not 100% totally matte on my face but its the closest I have found that wont cost me my first born(its more matte on the body though). Plus the tube is big enough that you can use it on your face and body. I was previously using Neutrogena sheer touch, I dont reccommend it.

I've tried so many sunscreens, all of which have been good apart from the fact that no matter which I tried my skin still ended up looking so greasy. I used to use Shiseido SPF55 Lotion, since it gave me the best finish ouyt of all I'd tried, but it still didn't give me a matte finish. Recently I've been using Sunkiller Clearwater, and i'm so happy with it, after a few minutes it gives a really nice matte finish, but doesn't dry my skin out at all. It's around $12 I think, but it's a really small bottle and quite hard to get hold of. I bought mine off Ebay. |

Thanks so much to all of you! I've just ordered the Solbar sunscreen from DermStore, since it was the cheapest and got tons of great reviews. We'll see |
