Has anyone heard of this line? It is very expensive but nobody has even mentioned it here.

This is a line of spa products that I buy at Willowstream spas (Fairmont Hotels). The Spa Face Clarifying line has been extremely good for me as a cleanser/toner/moisturizer. I used all these products religiously about 2 years ago. The only things I have kept in my routine are the clarifying moisturizer (light but works well) and the clarifying exfoliant scrub (until it is gone - will replace with Dermalogica microfoliant or phytomer gommage). I am currently using up my Moor Mud Mask which is fun to use in the shower (messy!). I don't think it has given me any miracles though. Most importantly, I had very dry eyes (even cracking on the lids, creases and undereye). I couldn't use any of my normal moisturizing eye creams on them as they stung. BUT, the KF Rehydating Liposome Eye Cream was fantastic! Very moisturizing! It brought my dried out eyes back to normal!

Yes, I've heard of it. It is a Swedish line of skin care products sold mainly at spas throughout the world.

I haven't tried any of her products yet but my sister in law has and loves them.

I looked at her USA site and smoe of the products sound really lovely.

Hi tiger_tim,

I looked on the Willowstream site and I found a list of all the ingredients. Just click on the cream you're interested in...

Here's an example of the rehydrating liposome eye crea:

Yes! I have heard of it. The Rancho Las Palmas Spa in Palm Springs used it on my face while I was on vacation. Of course afterwards I had to buy everything they used. I have very dry skin and it made it feel comfortable.

I agree Racecargirl! I tried it at Willow Stream Spa in Banff, Alberta (by the way, it is the GREATEST spa ever!). I had a fabulous facial and found out I was using all the wrong products on my super dry skin (oily creamy products just made me break out more). I bought the Clarifying line (sample package) and it changed my life! My face was so much happier after. Gratitude is owed to the esthetician who showed me the light!

It is a very soothing line. I haven't reacted negatively to any of it!!!

I found out that there is a esthetician school here in Stockholm that uses only Kerstian Florian products. Maybe I should schedule a facial with them and see how it goes. A full one hour facial and treatment is about $22 USD, a bargain in my book. Smile

wow, elsiej123, if that is indeed the full list then it is impressive, but I am not sure if that is the full list or just the detailed list of so-called "active" ingredients.

Anna, $22 for a facial? Man, i would be there every week!

Hi again,

You're right. I doubt it is the full list. I looked on my products and since I threw the boxes away I don't have an ingredient list. However, the Moor Mud Masque lists just "Silt (moor mud)" as its only ingredient.

Aha! My husband has the Foaming Shave and Face Wash. It has many ingredients. I won't list all but I think it confirms that the other list is incomplete.

For example:
water, SLS, Cocamide DEA, Glycol Distearate, TEA-Lauryl Sulfate, Hypnea Musciformis Extract, Algae extract, sweet alomond oil, lavender oil, propylene glycol, fragrance, urea, sorbitol, disodium EDTA, sodium chloride, etc.

However, it is a foaming men's shave wash - smells medicinal.

Hope that helps.

It is an esthetician school here in Stockholm (there are a few here) so it isn't a regular spa however this school offers full spa services and such. Normally I would hesitate because you never know if these students know what they are doing however I have two friends who went there and said that they had good experiences and at bargain prices.

Another school here offers the same services but uses Decleor and Dermalogica products. I am tempted to try both and see how I like it.

In all of my 35 years I have only had one professional facial. I'm a bit overdue. Laughing

This is a great line and although I am not currently using it, the one product I recall from my facial years ago in Victoria BC are the Vitamin C ampules. They come in a package of I believe 7 for about $100 but each one can be used for up to a week. One of the many products I have used over the years that really made a big difference to my skin right away.

Hi,

The moor mud has no smell. Acutally, it doesn't even smell very mud-like. Great for sensitive skin!

Experienced this line while visiting the spa at Rancho Los Palmas in Palm Springs. My face felt absolutely amazing aftershave so I too had to buy everything she used. I used the clarifying line for probably 6 years. Absolutely loved it. Switched to their Caviar line maybe 6 years ago. Amazing line!!!

I've been looking at their Brightening Eye Cream but haven't bought it just yet because there's not many reviews on it. Although, I do like the ingredient list a lot for this, tempting...
