For two weeks now I've had this spot on my chin and I have no idea what it is. It's about the size of a pencil eraser and blue/purplish. It's not raised and the skin's not broken. If it were raised I would think it's a blood blister.
Two weeks ago I had a car accident. Nothing too bad. It was just me and a fox I tried to avoid. I missed the fox but put my car in the ditch. The airbag went off and I hit it hard enough to bruise my nose pretty good. I noticed the spot the day after the accident and it hasn't changed at all since then.
Could this be a reaction to the powder of the airbags? Or maybe a small blood blister but it's not raised at all? Any ideas on how to get rid of this? TIA! |

| It does sound like a bruise, I use an oil infuesed with arnica to help my bruises heal. I bruise so easily even though i'm very healthy, but this really speeds their recovery. You can get an arnica cream or oil at a health food store or vitamin store. Oh, and that was so sweet of you to try to avoid the fox. Glad to know you weren't to seriously hurt. I hope everything heals soon! |

| I thought it was a bruise at first. But the bruise on my nose was much worse and it was gone in 4 days. I don't think the spot on my chin has diminished at all in two weeks. I'll give the arnica oil a try and see what that does. Thanks! |

Glad you're safe. I heard those airbags hurt, glad you didn't burn on the arms from the bag exploding.
My first intial reaction seems like a bruise of some sort. |
