Everytime I read tips on how to line eyes, the experts always claim that lining around your WHOLE eye makes your eyes look smaller. For me, if I try the more "natural" look, my eyes look smaller! Does anyone else notice this for themselves?

I know people who look amazing with eyeliner around the whole eye. It does not enlarge the eye but makes it more intense and stands out more.

For myself personally, I enjoy doing the top only and maybe a highlighting shadow on the bottom. I find that this makes theeyes huge and that's what I like Very Happy

I think it varies person to person. My eyes do look smaller if they're lined all the way around so I just line the top lid. Sometimes I'll line the outer bottom, but never the whole way...makes my dark circles look worse!

I agree with Jala--it tends to emphasize what you have. If you have eyes that are on the small side, lining all the way 'round will make 'em look smaller. If you have big eyes, it'll make them stand out more.

I personally prefer tightlining on a day-to-day basis as it adds definition but doesn't make your eyes look smaller or heavy at all.

Okay, do I understand right that you are actually lining on the underneath side of your upper lashes? Does it run in to your eye or smudge in a bad way? How long does it usually last? and does it irritate your eyes at all? That's why I can line inner lower lashes-it seems to feel irritating and the sclera get alittle red. Are there any tricks or brands that perhaps wouldn't cause this. Also can this be done with MMU. Thanks guys.
