Anyone currently using this? Is it matte or shiny?
Can anyone comment on what level of UVA protection it would offer?

Lucinda I just tried this recently and did not like it at all. Here is a link where I discussed my experience with it. Check page 3.

I think that in theory it could offer good UVA protection but my concern with it was that the coverage seemed so uneven that I wondered if my entire face was getting good UV protection.
