I feel like shopping mall stores have very.. common styles [well duh] but at the same time not what i'm looking for. I prefer magazines like carabella and venus [keep in mind swaying from the more SLEEZY things!] but I can never seem to find cute stuff I see in those magazines in STORES! arhh the pain of shopping! |

I try to be patriotic and buy everything locally, but sometimes it is ridiculous. I buy 90% of skincare/bodycare overseas, because it is not available or too expensive. Even some health foods, like herbs and teas, are better quality and cheaper than the ones that are collecting dust on shelves in local health stores. New Zealand is too niche to have big companies step in and bring good quality products that are already booming overseas...
Even my clothes.. oh geez.. once every two years I go back to China and take around $3k ($15kRMB) to buy my casual wear and whatnot, something that would otherwise cost me tens of thousands to do here.. We have one measly department store here, and it replicates the same brands as most good shopping malls... |

ooooo miranets, good point about China! I can't wait to go back next summer and stock up..Such great prices and good quality! oh and the bargaining is so much fun!
Canada has really realy boring malls. I enjoy going to Montreal, it helps a bit. I find the States definitely has more variety (AND cheaper!). |

I LOVE anthropologie, it would be a semi-affordable place to shop if I didn't have a skin care * spam alert *, but alas I must only shop from the 50% of rack |

I used to shop at the malls, but Canada has very limited brands (both clothes/cosmetics) Now, I love to shop online for skincares. Also, I recently find out that the Bay has large selections of shoes, better than Browns/Townshoes ... |

I buy everything that I can online. I usually wait for a free shipping promo. If I get a catalog in the mail, I hit the website to order. I love the convenience. My nights and weekends are more enjoyable not having to get to a store to buy what I need. |

I do all my skincare shopping online and everything else when I get a chance to go to Buffalo, N.Y. I hate shopping here in Canada, choices are so limited, everything looks the same and the stores aren't customer friendly at all Another thing I love about shopping in Buffalo is that they have the most amazing sales |

I buy everything except groceries online. I hate shopping because people drive me insane. - Oh, but there's a great consignment shop right down the road from me! I get things there that I could never afford otherwise. |

I absolutely hate shopping at a mall or boutque...I do not have any patience...I shop online except for groceries. Sometimes it's a pain to order online if you're unsure about the correct size, etc...so much better (at least for me) than going to a mall. |
