I was just looking at some Cellcosmet and noticed that the prices for all Cellcosmet items have gone up ALOT!!! I am in the US and am looking at the prices in USD. Has anyone noticed price increases on EDS? If so, for what brands?
I am glad that the only Cellcosmet product that I plan on repurchasing is the Gel Cleanser! The Eye Cream is now $195 USD! |

Yes, we had to obey Cellcosmets new strict pricing policies and increased all Cellcosmet prices today. Every authorized retailer in North America will have to follow up and also adjust theirs to suggested retail prices.
In 99% of the cases a price increase is not our choice but we must do it. We will work hard to stay most competitive by continuing our free gifts, forum gifts, forum discounts and other ways to save you money.

The other authorized Cellcosmet retailers in the US have been charging the higher prices for a while now. I always wondered why EDS was able to sell the Cellcosmet for some much less. It is good to know that until Cellcosmet got really strict EDS was giving us a good price while other retailers were not!
Believe me Magda even with the price increase I think that EDS is the best place to buy Cellcosmet. |

I agree EDS is the best place to buy. I rave about it a work to all the teachers. I have never bought from a more generous company. The samples alone are incredible! |

A local skin care boutique I often visit in L.A. told me about 4 months that Cellcosmet's price is going up soon and they did few weeks later. I was very surprised for few months why EDS still offered the old pricing. |

Wow, I must watch what Cellcosmet is going to be doing in Japan. I am always intrigued with pricing around the world (how it differs by country with taxes etc.). I knew that they tried to set pricing that made no one country more appealing from which to buy but I guess they are really pushing toward that now. |

MACrisis is right on the Cellcosmet Eye Cream price. So in USD that is a 30% increase! At least for the Purifying Gel the price increase from $64 to $75 is only a 15% increase..... |

I'm not familiar with US consumer legislation but I would have imagined there would be some sort of regulation prohibiting retail price fixing
Maybe not, as a lot of companies, skincare or otherwise, seem to do it. |

I remembered the SA from the skin care boutique told me that Cellcosmet eye cream's price will be increased from $150 to $175 few month ago. I have to check with them if they increased the price to $195. |

Was there any reason mentioned that the company was increasing their prices so much? |

Anti-stress Mask has a price increase of over 30%! I should have got Cellcosmet instead of Remergent in my latest just a few days ago. |

Just found out last nite too.. I am so sad cellcosmet went up. Plus, there is no good gift like before anymore. We really have to find other similar product to cellcosmet. Keep posting if anybody knows any. |

I wonder if it was the companies strategic plan to hike up the price to compete with other companies. |

Skincare are you saying that they increased the price to appear more exclusive? At first I though that your comment didn't make any sense but maybe there is something to it.
I wonder if this has anything to do with Saks carrying the brand now? When I first saw Cellcosmet at Saks it was priced at what EDS is now selling it at after the price increase.
Lifeplyr01 I also have noticed that EDS charges more for Dermalogica and also Juvena. It always stands out in my mind when I see EDS charging more for a brand because in general they have the best prices. |

I think some items from Cellex-C went up.
I was looking at their Hydra B 5 complex last week and coulda sworn it was 55 USD, now it's 66 USD (to be fair, it's now this same price on other skincare websites, so I think the company --Cellex C---hiked everthing up as a whole).
EDIT: I posted a thread regarding Decleor...those prices went up as well (ylang ylang oil now 49, up from 43 USD, the essential and ylang ylang balm are now $52 from 48 bucks) so not as much a hike, but my usual three products I use will cost me 15 bucks more as a whole the next time around, assuming they don't go up anymore.
EDS is still the best place to buy Decleor, other shops sell the balms for 63 USD and the oils for $62, which is retail. |

I agree Theresa! It's getting hard though because competition is sending me 15% codes and with some prices being higher at EDS, I have to stop and calculate. I never did that before, EDS always was a better deal! Thank goodness I don't buy too much from any etailer..I'm too broke these days!! |

It is a really good possability. Who knows but have you seen the other upscale namebrands? Cellcosmet was not as close to others and that would bring the name down.
If I remember correctly, Cellcosmet has not responded to some of our e-mails? I never got a response through the company web-site.
I wonder why? And Holt Renfrew is discontinuing this line. |
