I know I read where someone on the forum said that the JM AI Lash has been packaged in new/different container. Question: How do those of us who have not yet used it tell the old product vs. the new?
Also, this product hasn't been on the market that long. Why would JM repackage it? Makes me wonder if the stuff in the "new" packaging is real or not.
I'm considering getting some off eBay (which kind of scares me) - I just don't want to get ripped off or, worse yet, have eye problems by using a bogus product. I've also noticed that everyone is raising their price on the stuff - even those eBay sellers who previously proclaimed that they "don't price gouge" - some of them are selling the stuff for more than JM's $160 pricetag!
I guess that's what happens in a capitalistic, open market. Carekate needs to get on with launching her product so she too can make a lot of $$$! |

The new one has a squeegee-neck that scrapes excess product from the brush as you pull it out of the tube. The old bottles just have a wide opening (so wide that if you accidentally knocked it over, some of the precious fluid will drain out!) that dispenses too much and allows a lot of air to get into the container causing it to get a bit gunky as you get toward the end and a lot of customers complained about it -- hence the redesign.
Bottom line: I doubt you're gonna know if it's new or old design until you actually break the safety seal and open up the tube unless they changed the label or logo or something. |
