Has anyone tried these? I'm in the market for a sunscreen but don't know which one of these to get. I'm mainly concerned about the greasy, oily factor as well as any white cast problems. Thanks. |

Out of those two I actually prefer the AKN, it seems lighter to me and sinks in pretty well without leaving an oily film, but for the winter I may switch to the MAX fluide.
Both are a bit watery than what I'm used to. Not too bad on leaving a white caste since they're so watery and thin, so I actually might put more on since it feels like I'm not wearing anything. The AKN is whiter in color than the MAX fluide. |

I really like the AKN - it site beautifully on top of my vitamin c serum and emu.
I'm eagerly waiting for my package from Skincarecentral.

I haven't tried the Max Fluide, but I LOVE the AKN. You can buy samples at skincarecentral to compare for yourself.

Strangely I find the fluide has less sheen than the AKN although it is more emollient it appears more matt.
I really love the texture of the Fluide. It really rubs in like a light moisturiser. My only quibble is that it leaves the slightest white cast on me. Not in broad daylight, but in dimly lit rooms and particularly in artificial lighting so I don't like to wear it on office days.
In terms of efficacy I found the AKN next to useless - I got burnt using it and was only out for 45 mins in the late afternoon/early evening. Maybe the fluidy nature of it made me not put enough on or it could be that it only contains one of the Tinosorbs and the others contain both.
I haven't tested the Fluide on the beach, but I did go out and about in the sun with it quite a bit and I find it works well.
These were only the samples I tried so not a long-term user. I would re-order the Fluide. |

Thanks everyone. I'll order samples from Kathleen and let you know what I think as well. |

Molly, I might try the Fluid next time.
I haven't actually used a full sized one of the AKN as I'm expecting it in the post very soon.
