Our own darling Winnie is having ankle surgery on Tuesday the 24th of October. It's supposed to be a 3 hour procedure with her on crutches for 3 months before even starting any type of rehab. She is understandable nervous & anxious about this whole thing. I am putting a big basket of my products together for her to be there when she gets home from the hospital on the 26th of October. I know it would thrill her to pieces to receive well wishes from everyone here. Please leave a lovely happy message for her. Right before I send the basket I will print out this thread for her so she knows how much she means to us & to cheer her on those 'not so good' days.
And even if you don't know who Winnie is please leave well wishes anyway! I would be so happy to send her a big envelope of love from EDS'rs along with a sweet-smelling basket.
Thank you all!! Candy
I'll start.... |

Oh no! I thought she had a brace and managed to avoid the surgery. Admittedly, I'm guilty of not keeping in touch as much as I should and I haven't had much contact with her in the last couple of months.
I wish you a quick recovery Winnie! I hope the surgery goes well and solves all the painful ankle problems that you've had. |
