I purchased this months ago, tried it a few times and I didn't notice any difference in my eyelashes. So, I tucked it away. Then, I read on the EDS forum that it was actually causing one user to lose lashes, so I added it to my swaplist! Then, I saw the photos on the EDS forum and read about the Voila! lashes that occurred at Week 5 and Week 6. Well, I am here to tell you that those gals were right! I am at Week 5 and I cannot believe my lashes. I stare in the mirror and I cannot believe the long lashes that are staring back at me. Thank you so much for your information--otherwise, I would never have experienced the fabulosity of this product! EDS customers -- add this to your cart! But...learn from me..and be patient!! I use it only at night, with my Dreamlash serum...use Lancome Definicils mascara or sometimes Senna LC mascara..just ordered Blinc from EDS to try with my new fluttering long lashes as well!! Also, if you just blink your lashes through the mascara wand--the length is really accentuated!

Gosh, I hope my eyelashes take a turn for the better at 5-6 weeks! It has been a month and although I thought for awhile that my eyelashes looked a little better, they weren't and still aren't longer, thicker or darker. I am bummed, everyone is having such great results and i'm wondering where mine are. Crying or Very sad

thirtyish, I hope you get a sudden leap at 5-6 weeks too. I experienced something similar to that. I'd been using the JM for about that long with definite, but moderate results. About a week ago it seemed like I suddenly had a dramatic improvement in length and volume. I can't stop looking at my eyelashes! One coat of mascara and my lashes look far more luxuriant than I could have ever achieved before no matter what I tried. Now my biggest worry is that I'll run out of product before it's back in stock. It's a conspiracy, I tell ya. Grrrrrr.

I've been using this product for about 6 weeks now. A couple of weeks ago I noticed that my lashes were thicker (I'm half Japanese and have short, stick straight lashes). Over the last week I really noticed a difference in length. I only have to wear 1-2 coats of mascara, where before I would wear 2-3.

Pretty cool stuff! Very Happy

I have used it every night except maybe 2 since I got it. I am trying to apply it sparingly but I want to glop it on to get better results. But from reading all the threads, I know that isn't necessary. I can't imagine that all of a sudden in a week or so my lashes will change dramatically...but I hope. If nothing happens after 6 weeks I will be BUMMED!

Some have said that this discolors the lid, that a red/brown line around the lashline appeared after using. I have no discoloration...for those that have it, did it appear right away or when the product started working?

Does anyone know if your lashes stay thick? How long after quitting usung it do they stay thick? It would be too expensive for me to do on a regular basis, but might be fun to do for special occasions. Do any of you do that?

I don't think this works for special occasions. Its a gradual process, so u'd have to do it for some weeks or months before they were long, then u could cut back to say 2 or 3 x's to keep. as to thickness, some say they get that others don't... but if you got them long then you could cut back on usage. My tube isnt even half empty and I started in July I think.

editing to add...some report no growth, others fabulous growth, I am in the fab growth group. So it is a big purchase.

How does this product work? Hair that you can see is dead, or we would be screaming every time we got our hair cut. Is it a biotin based product? That would stimulate the follicals at the root of the eyelash. I was going to purchase this product but then saw how much it cost, WOW. for that price the stuff had better work Very Happy

It has a secret ingredient called "eyelash growth factor" it isn't applied to the hair, it is applied like eyeliner and the active penatrates the follicle.

arhh, love this stuff.. i only use it at night too, right after my shower, and layer on ardell growth accelerator onto my actual lashes - i've got AMAZING growth- my inner lashes touch my eyebrow with hypnose or fatale mascara and the corner lashes are just.. wow! awesome results:)

I read about the coconut oil producing dramatic results too so i'm going to try that next!

Cindy -- check drugstore.com (EDS won't let me include a link) for the Ardell. It's very inexpensive!

The "secret" JM ingredient is most likely a postuglandulan (not sure on spelling) ingredient.

There are a few postuglandulans that are used in eye drop treatments for Glaucoma patients. After continued use, these prescriptive drugs have the side effect of longer, thicker and darker lashes. They can also cause pigment changes on the eyelids, and iris.
(remember this is at the higher drug level concentrations)

At one time I researched this, and there are about three different eye treatment drugs that have this eyelash growth side effect. If someone wants drug names, they can PM me. But they are very expensive and usually available by RX only.

The secret ingredient in this product seems to be a lower percentage of the same type of substance. Maybe even a copycat version of that substance.

Tangal, I don't believe that is "most likely" a postuglandulan, it is a possibility amoung a number of things that could cause hair growth though.
