I would appreciate it if someone would post their experiences with more Dr Hauschka products. These haven't really had all that many reviews on EDS yet....

I just got my EDS parcel on Friday and in it I bought (among other things Smile) the Dr H Cleansing Cream. I'm really liking it, though it is too early for a review at this stage. However, so intrigued I am by other Dr H products that I have just ordered:

Dr Hauschka Facial Toner (got a sample and like it so far)
Dr Hauschka Rhythmic Night Conditioner (because it sounds intriguing)
Dr Hauschka Cleansing Cream (because I'm sure I will use more than the 1 tube I currently have Smile)
Dr Hauschka Translucent Bronze Concentrate (because it gets fab reviews as a bronzer).

Btw, about the Translucent Bronze Concentrate, I haven't tried it yet but the reason I bought it was that people keep commenting that it's a great thing to use to make your moituriser a really natural looking TINTED moisturiser. So you can now turn your fave SPF moisturiser into a tinted version! Surprised

Will report back on it! (of course Very Happy)

When I was pregnant nearly two years ago I bought the whole Dr H range. Cleansing cream, toner, rythmnic conditioners, makeup. The only thing I didn't buy was a moisturiser as I was using the creme de la mer lotion and it was okay. My skin at the time was spotty, very reactive, patchy dryness, pretty horrible. I have to say the Dr H range was superb, within a few days my skin had calmed down, the spots started to go quicker when they came and eventually after a few weeks my skin was 'normal' and balanced. Now whether this was hormonal or the products I can't say for definite, but there was a marked improvement without a doubt in my skin. The bronze concentrate and the night conditioners are definately the hero products of the range. The neem oil is fantastic for strengthing your nails, it's actually meant for your hair but who cares!!! I also used the elixirs when I was pregnant, not sure how effective they were but they tasted nice. I did buy the delicious silicious, which I think is meant to be very good at strengthing nails, hair, skin. It tasted so awful, and feeling quite poorly at the time it wasn't an ideal thing to try and drink!!! Unfortunately now I associate the smell of the powder with morning sickness so I still can't take it!!!!!

Hi Mabsy,

I have used all of Dr. Hauschka's moisturizers which I think I already mentioned in my review of the Rose Day Cream. Anyways, I have very dry skin, but I loved all of the moisturizers. Each one was great for my skin.

I'm also presently using Dr Hauschka's Sunscreen Cream SPF20. Reallly like it. It says on the tube it's good for high sun protectiion. It's great for my skin because it contains ony natural ingredients and my skin is sensitive to chemicals. The active ingredient for sun protection is Titanium Dioxide. But it also contains Jojoba Oil, Peanut Oil, Quince Seed Extract, Shea Butter, Horse Chestnut, Sweet Almond Oil, Avocado Oil. You may think all that oil means greasy stuff, but I find it to be a great moisturizing sunscreen. I found others too drying. Love the product.

abighill - Thank you for sharing your experiences with the Dr H products. I'm particularily happy to hear that you think the bronzer and the night conditioners are Dr H's top products - I'm *really* looking forward to trying them! I wasn't too sure about them when I was actually buying them, but I thought "oh well, the only way you'll ever know!". It's good to see that someone on this forum would also recommend them.

Leeleedeedee - first of all it's great to hear from you! I've read your previous Dr H posts, in fact that's what tempted me to try the lip balm (which is great btw!). It's been a while since I tried the Rose Day Cream. In hind sight I should have asked Magda if she could include a sample in my order, oh well, there's always next time! I do remember the cream being heavy for me, but with winter coming around it might be quite suitable.

Hello Mabsy,

So glad you like the lip balm. I just finished my jar and already miss it.

I know I'm talking about the Rose Day Cream EVERYWHERE and people are sure to get sick of me. Just want to say that even though my skin is super dry I, myself, don't always use it all over my face but sometimes just put it on the dry areas. I like it around my eyes. No irritation at all. Very comfortable.

Let us all know how you like your Dr. H. products. I've always loved you reviews.

Mabsy,
I've been using Hauschka's mascara and bronzing concentrate for over 6 years now. The mascara looks extremely natural on me, and is also very easy to remove, making it a great everyday mascara. Beware of rainy days and dramatic movies -- just a little water will make it run Crying or Very sad. The bronzer is great as an additive to any body moisturizer, too! Very Happy

I really can't wait to try the bronzer now! I'm really glad that people think highly of it.

k.a.t. - I didn't even realise that Dr H made mascara!!! Will have to try that also. I quite like mascaras that come off easily with water. The Clarins curling one is like that, no need for eye makeup remover AT ALL! But yeah, stay out of the rain, and don't wear it when you're dropping your best friend off to the airport Embarassed

Leeleedeedee - your enthusiasm for the Rose Day Cream might be catching, I have actually tried it before and all your posts make me want to re-visit it Razz

Hey Mabsy, I've been wondering how you're getting on with the Dr. H stuff... good? average? loving it?
I have to admit that I am a bit of a sucker for packaging and I like what I see there - is the stuff inside as good as the outside appears? You KNOW a girl can never have too many products... and I haven't bought anything new for a while...

In short - lovin' it! Very Happy I'm a HUGE fan of the cleansing cream (just finished a tube of it but luckily I stocked up and have another one waiting Smile). I'm on my final few days of the Rhythmic Conditioner too. I will write a proper review of the Dr H stuff I've been using early next week.

Hi Mabsy,

I have just started with DR H Rhythmic Conditioner, hoping to see good result. I love the cleansing cream but since i have oily/combination skin, i was told to use only 2-3 times a week and not daily.

So far, have also tried the Cleansing Milk, Neem Oil Nail Pen, Normalising Oil etc.

I promise I'll write it this week, just too tired tonight though Sad

Could you do me a favour when you go in for the Dr H facial? *searches for the "green with envy" emoticon* If you get a chance could you please ask them what sort of technique needs to be used with the Cleansing Cream? They give a vague description of it in directions but really I just kinda had to adapt my own method. It'd be good to get something "official" from a Dr H beauty specialist.

I hope you're going to report back and let us know what they used on you! Wink Btw, not sure if you get the option to try things or if they decide what to use, but I was doing some "research" on the weekend and the Rejuvenating Mask gets rave reviews. That's next on my "Dr H to try" list Smile

Enjoy your facial!

Laughing Really looking forward to it Kiwigirl! Enjoy your facial and then tell us all about it! Personally, I'm particularly interested in that mask. I think that's my next purchase...
