Well, i have blackheads on my nose, and i have no idea how to get rid of them cept for getting something to peel the skin, is that what i should keep doing?

Also when i lift things my face gets really flared up, but its not heavy at all and i dont have any struggle.

I am taking Nicomide vitamin pills and clindamyicin pills for my acne.

I am also wondering i have leftover redness from past-acne and if i stopped taking the pills i am currently taking, it would probably get worse. But i heard the clindamyicin pills make my skin more sensitive, while the nicomide lessens the red. So if i stopped taking the nicomide would my leftover marks get redder? Or, if i stopped taking the clindamyicin would it get better/worse?

I am also using a cleanser twice every week, that peels the deadskin and makes the red look better everytime i use it i think, so i guess i should keep using that? thanks.

Im not sure about the oral pills you are taking but maybe you are just flushing and its making any redness appear temp worse. For your blackheads I think a clay mask and something with Salicylic acid or Mandalic Acid would help to clean out stubborn pores. Here is a link to a site that sells both, you can also order samples first to see if they agree with your skin before taking the plunge. Very Happy

Hi!

For blackheads, what has helped me is changing to a skin care line that is very gentle and hydrating.

Aggressive skin care treatment can lead to blackheads... Sometimes just taking away a product or two and adding something hydrating will do it.

As for the redness, using the Ice Elements 2 minute miracle exfoliation gel as a mask by applying it, covering face with a moist warm towel and letting it sit for 20 minutes a couple of times a week should help. The Ice Elements line uses Hydropol, a double patented pharmacuetical grade of aloe vera that is extremely healing to the skin and works well on reducing acne related redness.

Good luck and take care.
Bosoxy.

Have you tried Skinceuticals phyto gel? Or their B5 serum?
I love phyto gel at the moment, I was using the B5 serum because retinol was irritating my skin and this seemed to stop the irritation/redness. Im now using phyto instead and it seems to be doing the trick as well.

Retinol might help with pores too.
