Hello there!! I just was recommened by a facialist to try Dermalogica. i uuse the PTR line and love it but she recommended The ultivitamin power frim for eye and lip area and the Day Birght spf 15 and the daily microfoliant. She gave me sample of all these except the suncreen. I really like the eye cream . . .wow . . .so ultra soft and silky! I need to know from you guys what you recommend! I have combination/Oily skin prnone to breakouts but honestly have not had one since using PTR about 5 weeks ago. Also, I am afraid that mixing the two lines may not be wise???? Any thoughts? Last, I read somewhere that mising vitamin C (which is in most Dermalogica products is not advised. Responces to any of the above is so greatly needed! I have my first facial on Monday and she is using Dermalogica and I would like to know by then.[/i] |

day bright is a really great primer, and the daily microfoliant is definitely one of the best exfoliants out there...if you have oily skin the active moist is a great moisturizer. their cleansers are only so-so, but some people really like the pre-cleanse...I haven't tried it. |

Here's a similar thread from not too long ago:
http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=17010&
My favs:
Ultracalming cleanser, PreCleanse, Daily Microfoliant. My whole cleansing routine is Dermalogica. Can't say the same for actives/moisturizer/eyecream. There really isn't any harm in mixing if you found products from other brands that suit you. |

I love the dermalogica skin cleansing wipes and daily microexfoliant. I use to be loyal to just one brand and then I read from a derm that most skincare companies have that one knockout item thats great but doesnt mean the rest of it is as good as other brands. So maybe stick with what you like best from PTR and try one thing from dermalogica. I use dermalogica,IS clincal, skinceuticals, dr. brandt...I'm not scared to try new things anymore you never know what goodies you might find. |

I have to agree with you and that derm that you can pick and choose the best (products tha suit you best) products. This can mean that you have many different brands. I have Dr. H, Dermalogica, PSF, Pevonia, Decleor, Astara and a few more. I've found that I love one or two products in each line that I go back to all the time.
In Dermalogica I've got the Anti-bac mask, Medicated clearing gel, Skin renewal booster, Intensive eye repair. |

Since you really like her facials, maybe ask her to recommend you her fav Dermalogica products. Definitely don't give up on PTR since it's hard to come by a line that works so well for you. |

I really like Dermalogica products. My favorites are definitely the daily micro, multi-vitamin masque, and their sheer tint moisture in medium. |
