I was wondering where I would find a peacoat like jacket. A long one, preferably red, black or grey, with a hood, and maybe a matching hat.
I have been googling like crazy and the only ones I can find are from rothchilds, and I don't care for them much. My daughter, (whos 6,nearly 7) really likes them, as do I, and she dosen't care for the bulk of winter jackets, and I don't know of anywhere I can get one made. Those jackets remind me of something like the British wore,....or was it German? Can't remember. No store around here have them, and I just can't seem to find one on the computer. Any ideas? Thanks, Rae

Someday I'm going to need winter clothes again. Our boss was just down here and brought about 30lbs of catalogs so I've been admiring a lot of winter coats.

I love this wool duffel coat I saw on popsugar.

It is from a store in Vancouver called Aritzia.

Online there are several lengths of wool blend coats on eddiebauer.com sierratradingpost.com nordstrom.com

Here is one from urbanoutfitters.com

Even these at Banana Republic, but I prefer the ones at J Crew

I know BR sells petite sizes, maybe those would work...J Crew as far as I know does not sell petite or childrens sizes.

I take that back, just checked J Crew and they do carry petite sizes.

Jcrew carry children's sizes called crew cuts I believe. They should be on the website.

For kids cloth, how about old navy?

checked there. In fact, been checking everywere. I tried googling british coats, then german coats. I can't find crap. I need a good sewing lady.
By the way, I love that coat above, the one by popsugar, but I typed in the name of that store in vancouver and I could not find that jacket. Its probably about 6 hundred dollars anyway Laughing
