Hi can anyone help me chose a cleanser from a 'natural' line. I have combo skin which breaks out once a month due to hormones.
Thanks!!! |

Hi Mia,
I have combo skin with the hormonal horrors. I use Decleor visage cleansing gel (blue bottle) and it is fantastic. I follow up with Dermalogica Microfoliant once per day and use Decleor Matifying toner. This has never irritated or dried out my skin and I have no plans to change. My skin is fussy about cleansers but this one is fine.
The Decleor cleanser comes in a 250ml bottle; not great for dispensing I admit (u would think someone would design a pump) but workable. One bottle lasts me about 2 months as you do not have to use alot. It also washes off makeup well (even EL Doublewear if I choose to wear that). Plus the scent is really good.
Some people also use to remove eyemakeup but I use Boots eyemakeup remover pads first to get rid of the stuff I put on my eyes.
I highly recommend you try it if you can. |

Hi Mia,
I've got similar skin issues, with the exception of having a more reactive/sensitive side.
I am a fan of both Decléor and Dr.Hauschka products. Currently, I use the Decleor Mousse Demaquillante - Foaming Cleanser as a daily cleanser and Dr.H's cleansing cream for exfoliating. I use a plain witch hazel water to tone (from local health food store) and Decleor's sensitive skin creme moisturiser. During the breakout moments or when it's not necessary to put on a cream, I use Dr.H's Normalising Day Oil. You don't need to use a lot of product, as a little goes a long way.
Hope this helps. |
