The discount is automatically taken off when your order is processed but remember, you must be logged in so that the system knows who you are.
Welcome to you and all other newbies. |

Good morning ladies. Long time lurker... first time poster . I guess I should say a big thank you first to everyone. I've learned so much since I found this site. I've started the spending, but thanks to you gals... it's on products that actually do something. So on behalf of me and my purse, thanks!!!
About me... 29, fair skinned, tan easily, light brown hair, and I live in the south burbs of Chicago. My main concern is aging (imagine that) lol. About a yr or so ago these lines appeared under my eyes when I smile. I've been on the trail of the solution ever since.
But now that I have all you lovely gals and your fountain of wisdom, my entire face is feeling better than when I was a teenager.
So again... Thank you ladies and thank you EDS!!!

Hello everyone,
I have been reading the EDS forum for a while now but only joined last April. Finally started posting, but still not a lot. I am still more of a lurker, just maybe shy of posting.
Originally from the Philippines but now live in Australia. 45 years old and I have a 19 year old daughter. This forum has really been very informative in helping me choose the products I get. Very thankful to everyone who has been deligently posting.
Sorry if I only introduced myself now, only starting to learn how to use the forums. |

Hi- after a lengthy post about the baby q, I noticed this, so, HI. I'm 49-----almost--iew--50. I have olive skin, that was pretty blemish free until in my mid 30's. Since then, I've had a couple bouts of cystic acne, which, fortunately responded well to accutane. But, the acne left me with majot pigment issues-I developed melasma with my last prenancy, then the acne left white/hypopigmentation spots--very attractive. So far, my skin has shown improvement from Obagi/retin-A, then FotoFcaials with Levulan- one more to go, and Baby Q. The imformation I've gotten here has been so helpful. During the warmer months, I work for myself as a garden designer. Now, during the winter, I can obsess about my skin!

I finally got the registration flukes worked out and officially got my email to say I'm "in". I've been lurking for sometime but wanted to make sure this forum was a great as it was beginning to look to me. I've lurked on other forums and witnessed only petty insults as time went on, but I have spent hours going thru hundreds and hundreds of post-and pre-dated messages and everyone is so friendly, helpful and kind. As well the product info is fantastic!! I know where I'll be spending the bulk of my monies now. Can't wait as I've seen some real great info on the BQ and lash enhancement and eye lifting serums that i can hardly wait to try. |

Hello everyone,
I stumbled here from a Google search on OTC teeth whitening products and .... boy, am I ever blown away by the sheer amount of detailed advice and feeback, but also the deep sense of community.
Short bio: I'm a grad student in Portland, Ore., and a longtime member of and moderator at flyertalk (dot) com, a forum similar to this focusing on frequent flier programs and also travel in general. There is a small but very vocal women's forum over there where discussions about skin care products and cosmetics come up from time to time, since -- as you might surmise -- frequent air travel can really take a toll on your skin, e.g. dry cabin air, extra UV exposure from excessive high-altitude flight, extreme climate changes, etc.
For 44, I'm truly blessed with few big beauty "issues", thanks to a course of Accutane a decade ago and otherwise having won the genetic lottery for thick hair, strong teeth and decent nails (thanks mum and dad!). My skin has looked great ever since on a minimalist routine of Cetaphil and AHA/BHA products from Mark Lees. However, like any other woman I have my crosses to bear, which are:
-- hands that totally give away my age
-- gazillions of fine lines on my lips (what the heck! I don't smoke!!)
-- the most boring natural hair color in the world, and now with far too many grays poking up all of a sudden (no fair! my mom didn't get any til almost 60!!)
-- embarrassingly dry feet (and very fat toes)
-- the realization that I'm going to need to switch up my skin care routine soon, now that dryness is apparent and creases are starting appear
Anyway, I look forward to joining in a bit once I've gone through some of the classic threads. What a fantastic forum! |

This thread is a brill idea. I too have been lurking since I joined in July this year. Until the last couple of days that is. I sat at the computer to catch up on some overdue paperwork and found myself on the EDS forum tapping into all sorts of wonderful information. Needless to say very little work done and am developing a slight * spam alert *. Found products I didnt know I needed! Plan to tear myself away for the rest of the week & actually do some work to avoid paperwork overload probs. But first a bit about me...
*I am 44years young and live in Melbourne,Australia
*Two children - girl 17 and boy 12
*Run two businesses (my own)- one in fashion accessories and the other parties & workshops for girls of all ages. But selling one, 'cause I just cant maintain this crazy pace. (very exhausting)
*I have dark brown hair, hazel eyes, olive skin and a fairly normal leaning to dryish complexion.
*I have monthly treatments with a skin therapist where I have a face peel & scraping to keep my skin in good condition.
*I also have dreaded dark circles which I am constantly trying to eliminate.
*Luv a good lip balm, eye cream and dream about a great eyelash serum and something to make my eyebrows grow or even thicken just a little!!
Sorry girls I should issued a warning to grab a coffee and a snack before reading this. I hadnt planned to but I have just managed to blindly waffle on unimpeded!!!! |

But have been lurking for months. I turned 40 a few months ago and have been obsessed with anti-aging products since then. I think I found this place when researching Thermage, which thankfully I did not have done.
My face is starting to get quite a few lines and creases, but not too bad since I was never a big sun worshipper. My nemesis has always been my dark, heriditary undereye circles that now get puffy and creased when I don't get enough sleep.
Thanks to these forums, I have discovered some great products like the Janson-Beckett skin care line, MAC Fluidline eyeliner and lip plumpers.
I've also found Peter Thomas Roth chamomille face cleanser and Vincent Longo loose powder and concealer, but thanks to the Sephora ladies.
Everyone here is so helpful and nice! |
