Okay. So, I'm ready to color my hair this morning. I took 2 drops each of coconut oil, jojoba and Rosehip Seed Oil (only oils I have)in my palm. I rubbed them together and massaged throughout my hair. Now, my hair is very oily. Is this right? Do I need to wash some out before I color?

| I'm going to bump this up because I'm seriously considering following Carrie's advice and coloring my hair like she does (using the stuff she buys from Sally's). I don't remember the answer to this question so does anyone know? My guess is to not wash it out but then apply the chemicals. |

I got antsy and decided to go ahead and apply even though I felt my hair was waaay too oily. It turned out brilliantly. Lots of bounce and shine and very even color.

| you did right! leave the oil in the hair and directly apply the colour. |
