Okay. So, I'm ready to color my hair this morning. I took 2 drops each of coconut oil, jojoba and Rosehip Seed Oil (only oils I have)in my palm. I rubbed them together and massaged throughout my hair. Now, my hair is very oily. Is this right? Do I need to wash some out before I color?
Thanks for any help.

I'm going to bump this up because I'm seriously considering following Carrie's advice and coloring my hair like she does (using the stuff she buys from Sally's). I don't remember the answer to this question so does anyone know? My guess is to not wash it out but then apply the chemicals. |

Thanks, ellyp
I got antsy and decided to go ahead and apply even though I felt my hair was waaay too oily. It turned out brilliantly. Lots of bounce and shine and very even color.

you did right! leave the oil in the hair and directly apply the colour. |
