I stupidly used one of those pore minimising strips and lo and behold gave myself a horrid case of broken capillaries on the side of my nose. Will this repair with time or am I stuck with them for life?

Do they look red? If so I think you will be OK. This happened to me on my cheek when I tried a home Microdermabrasion product. I was really upset as I had IPL to treat broken capillaries a few years before. After several days the red veins on my cheek faded away. Just be very gentle with that area. Where this happened to you it tells you that you are prone to broken capillaries. Be gentle with you skin. Use tempid water to wash (avoid extreme temperatures). Oh, don't be surprised if they turn a dark blue before fading. HTH |

Try taking Rutin. It's a vitamin supplement that strengthens and repairs capillaries and veins. I buy mine from Holland and Barrett, and they do help to fade them. |

Yes, I just looked on H&B website and it's available in 2 strengths. I take the stronger one 500mg. It costs £7.29, but it's probably available in any health store. |
