AWESOME product! For REAL!
I have to add my first ever rave about this new product I have been using! NaturDerm! It has only been a week, and I am thrilled with the results of these products! I have literally spent thousands of dollars on skincare, and never have I seen such fast and unbelievable results. My skin has become soft and smooth, and my dreaded pores are much tighter, which makes them not show as much.
A.M. = Cleanse face with face foam and rinse. Pat dry, then I mist face with bottled water, apply one bead of Chrysalyx, and one bead of Naturdermx to my face, massage until absorbed.
P.M. = Cleanse face w/face foam and rinse. While skin is still moist I apply a small amount of Epidermx ( it has a consistancy of very small beads in it) and massage to skin for about 20 to 30 seconds, rinse, pat dry. Mist face with bottled water, apply and massage one bead of Naturdermx to skin until product is absorbed. So Easy! I am loving this product and it has only been a week!
Had to share my good news! |

I just got my sample from the generous Amy today! I have the microdermabrasion cream and it is verynice. the exfoliant beads are very gentle and fine. I feel like I didn't have to tone or moisturize so I didn't. I wonder if I was supposed to? I remeber reading that there products are like all in one? Maybe I should p.m. her. Anyway, so soft and creamy of a feeling was left that I didn't do any more steps. |

Hi chellsta!
I agree after using the cream my skin felt so good that I could not stop touching it.
Also, I did not feel a need to use a toner, but I do think you would like their moisturizers too. I use the Chrysalyx.
I am thrilled with the area around my eyes..they look so much smoother and brighter! |

I tried the samples and fell in love with the
Chrysalyx. Took the plunge and ordered the whole line I just received my package today! I ordered mine on Ebay.

Abelita, I've been using these products for 4 months now and I have experienced no side effects--- no redness or dryness, just beautiful skin! 4 months straight using the same products is some kind of record for me! |

Abelita
I have used both as a day moisturiser and as a night cream. It really depends on skin type and weather. I find them a bit too heavy for my oily skin in summer. I sometimes use mineral makeup on top of naturdermx and it's not a problem. |

Hi again Abelita! I think they make both fine day creams and fine night creams. To me, the NaturdermX seems heavier than the Chrysalyx, so when the weather is warmer I wear the Chrysalyx by day under my makeup, and then I wear the NaturdermX at night. HTH! |

Manslayerliz, do you ever use the Chrysalyx with the NaturdermX? I haven't purchased the NaturdermX yet, am not sure whether it's worth using both products. I think i'd find the Chrysalyx too shiny to wear during the day. |

I am trying out the epidermx and the chrysalx and have been getting lots of red spots all over my face in addition to feeling like I have a mask on my face when I use the chrysalx. I have had to add on another moisturizer just so that my skin doesn't feel tight, especially in the eye area and along the jawline. Has anyone else had these problems and if so do they go away? I really want to like this product but so far they are just making me uncomfortable. Oh and these are the only new products I have introduced to my regimen and the only other product I use now is a cleanser and the add on moisturizer if I have to. |

Sel- Sometimes I use the two together, but honestly it seems like I might get more bang for my buck using them separately, so that's what I've been doing.
gigiab6- I had the same problem with the Chrysalyx the first few weeks I used it, but then my skin ajusted somehow and now it feels like a normal moisturizer. In the meantime, there are a few things you can do to boost the moisture level while your skin adjusts. The first is to use it on a damp face--- I mist my face with Caudalie Grape Water. Next, while your skin is still damp, before you apply the Chrysalyx, spritz with some sort of hydrating spray. There are two that I like and use. One is Zenbiotic's Phyto Moisture, and Heritage Products Rosewater and Glycerin which I bought at Whole Foods, but it can also be purchased here:
http://www.caycecures.com/Catalog/catalog/2007/aromatherapywaters.htm
Lastly, if you still need another boost, after you apply your Chrysalyx you can apply a drop of Zenbiotic's Moisture Enrich. I tested the PH on the Moisture Enrich and it's the same PH as the Chrysalyx, so it's a good match. Also, it's a water soluble product, so it won't clog your pores. As your skin gradually adjusts, you will be able to use the Chrysalyx on its own or just with water more and more. I know it seems like a lot of trouble, but it's totally worth it to have clear skin and clear pores. HTH! |

I have sensitive skin. I have been using Chrysalyx for about a week, and I am sad to say that it seems to be irritating my skin somewhat and exacerbating my rosacea. I have noticed a slight but persistent tingling with an increase in little red splotches and rosacea pustules, mostly around my cheeks.
I am so sad !! Like you, gigiab6, I really want to like this product - I love that it has no silicones, and it is the nicest smelling moisturiser I have ever used (!!). It's also really nice and light, and sinks into the skin leaving a soft, non-greasy feeling. But I wonder if all the botanical ingredients that make the cream smell so nice are also irritating my skin (?). If it wasn't for the redness and irritation I would absolutely love this moisturiser. Perhaps I haven't given it a proper chance, it has only been a week.
I am going to try the Naturdermx on its own for a week or so to see if my skin tolerates that better, as the Naturdermx seems to have a simpler list of ingredients. I might try persevering with the Chrysalyx, but it's hard to keep going with something that feels like it's irritating my skin.

I have been using Naturdermx on its own (ie. without Chrysalyx) for a week, and I am happy to say my skin seems to tolerates Naturdermx much better than Chrysalyx. My rosacea cheeks still feel a little tingly after applying Naturdermx, but I haven't had the increase in redness and irritation as I did with Chrysalyx. Yay! I really like the texture of Naturdermx, and if I have had no adverse reactions by the time the bottle is used up, I may well repurchase.
In terms of the Chrysalyx, I am not going to use it on my face, but I love the smell so much so I can't bear to part with it! I have been using it on my hands (yikes!). Very expensive as a hand cream, and not something I could justify in the long term! But the smell....! |

I stopped using the Chrysalyx a few days ago because even though I like many things about the cream I think it was starting to really clog my pores and I was getting some congested areas. I do want to give it another go though. So I recently started using the Osea Advanced Protection insted of the Chrysalyx, though i'm still using the Epidermx nightly, but I may alternate and use the Chrysalyx every other night and see how I go, as it's too greasy on my skin to use during the day. |

sel and yulia - i've noticed the same thing with the chrysalyx. i absolutely love the smell, and it does keep my skin hydrated, but i think it's too rich for me. looking over the ingredients, i think all of the butters (esp cocoa butter) are clogging my pores, b/c i was still getting breakouts, perhaps even more than when i began. at first i was hoping it was just purging, but i was only using all natural, silicone free products before, so i don't think that's really the case. i'll probably try using it as a hand cream, since i don't want to just chuck it, but will not be repurchasing. and perhaps if i have a really dry patch i could use it there, as long as it's not an area i tend to break out in, but otherwise, i just don't think it agrees with my face unfortunately. i'm still using and liking the lavender face foam and e2, but am going to try incorporating a pearl cream (either carekate's or i feel pretty's) as my main moisturizer . . . |

I love Chrysalx but also find it heavy on it's own, so I mix a small amount of Chrysalyx with plain HA and use that as a night moisturizer.
The HA helps the Chrysalyx absorb much better. No clogged pores or breakouts for me. On other nights I'll mix HA with emu oil. I personally much prefer this over most traditional "moisturizers".
I've used Chrysalyx on it's own as an eye cream and very much like it.

Here's the HA that I use -- http://www.skincarecentral.biz/HA-serum.html. I'm pretty sure you can purchase HA at Garden of Wisdom as well.
ETA - looks like the link isn't working.
Go towww.skincarecentral.biz and look under Moisturizers. |
