| TRIED USING BARE ESCENTUALS, BUT FIND THAT IT TAKES A BIT OF GETTING USE TO . MY FACE LOOKS AND FEELS KIND OF DRY AFTER USING THE MAKE UP. BUT THE MINERAL VEIL IS THE MOST WONDERFUL POWDER TO FINISH ANY MAKEUP WITH. IT LEAVES MY FACE WITH A VERY NATURAL LOOKING FINISH. I'LL KEEP TRYING THE MAKEUP, BUT IT MAY TAKE A WHILE. |

I am glad to see that you like your Bare Escentuals make-up, but am sorry to learn that you're finding the texture of your skin a bit flakey & dry.
As with all loose and/or powder-based make-up, it is important to exfoliate & hydrate the skin. Without this, you will find that dryness & flakiness is more-obvious with this type of make-up, as it will "cling" to the flakey pieces. |

| Try putting an oil-free moisturizer with Salicylic Acid which doesn't clog pores before the putting on the foundation. Also dust lightly. That may prevent the flakes from coming up. |
