What color is this product supposed to be? Please help!!! I used a dermalogica sample of the multivitamin power firm for eye and lips and it was light peach but when I purchased a whole tube of it, the color was clear/white like petroleum. Also, the tube was not as soft as the sample. Can someone who uses ths stuff tell me what color it is supposed to be? I spent $$$$ on it and would like to know if I got a bad batch or if the compnay does some shady advertisement by beefing up their samples and skimping on the product for purchase. Maybe the tube or sample was old??? Please respond. |

I have the powerfirm for eyes and lips and it is a cloudy, ointment-like consistency..it isn't peachy at all..Are you sure that the sample you tried wasn't the multivitamin power concentrate for the face? The multivitamin power concentrate for the face is peachy/brown in colour and is WAY more liquid-like than the powerfirm for the eyes and lips...maybe you had a sample of the multivitamin power concentrate for the face thinking it was the powerfirm for the eyes and lips? Could you have made a mistake? At any rate, I don't think you wasted your money - your description of the Dermalogica Powerfim for eyes and lips that you purchased sounds right to me!

my tube is pale peach and pretty thick...I have noticed a difference in color though between some samples and full size buys -- I think it's because they don't use coloring agents, so there's some variation. I've heard some people freak out about how orange it is and others say theirs isn't orange at all! who knows. I'm sure it's fine.
btw, mixing asprin with this mask works really nicely to counteract any dryness/flaking from the asprin. |

No, I'm sure it was the same product. Its just thatthe sample seemd to be a different texture, more silky? Also, the color was different, darker, more peachy. Well, thanks for oyu input anyway ladies! |

Hey Ladies,
I am a Dermalogica trained therapist and I hope that I can clear up some of the confusion over the MultiVitamin Products! MultiVitamin Power Firm (for eye and lip area) comes in the small .5 oz needle nose tube and is supposed to be white and a yummy thick consistency so it totally treats your eye and lip area!
MultiVitamin Power Recovery Masque is in the larger 2.5 oz tube and is definitely a peachey color.
Dermalogica does not use any artificial colors and therefore it is completely possible that there could be a very slight variance between batches, but this would not affect the efficacy of the products in anyway - they are always tested before they go out to the market place. I hope this clears up the confusion - these are both absolutely fabulous products - two of my top favorites! Enjoy! |
