I tried the Charcoal mask due to raves from another forum but it didn't do much for me. To me it was just like any other clay mask, nothing special but nothing bad either. It was a bit hard to wash off and takes a bit long to dry. I know some people swear by this mask and claims it gets rid of all your blackheads, so maybe my skin was just more resilient. It's worth a try since it's not expensive but it sure didn't wow me - actually I returned it and decided to try something else. |

Haven't tried any of those, I'm afraid, but I'm currently testing a hydrating facial oil by Origins and also their A Perfect World Body Lotion.
The facial oil seems pretty decent so far and the body lotion is lovely - great scent and hydrates well. |

i think organic lines often sound very perfect.

i used some german organic lines,it's pure,natrual,food grade,but they haven't a good feeling of use |

I have used some origins and had really good results....
Charcoal mask: Loved. Helped with clogged pores and does not over dry skin. Kept blemishes away too.
A Perfect World White Tea Serum: LOVED! IT really improved the texture of my skin and kept it very hydrated...I totally forgot about this stuff...I'm going to buy it this weeekend again! I havent tried the mask but I want to.
I also used the perfect world under eye and it was great but it didnt work great under makeup.
I also loved the cleanser Checks and Balances...great foaming cleanser. I never found a moisturizer that I liked...either too heavy or too light. I'm crazy about using the whole line and I guess that is why I left the line. The cleansers/perfect world serums are great. Everything smells very good too and I know they came out with some new smelly for the holidays! I know people have their thoughts about this line (good and bad) but I really loved their skincare. Good luck....and have fun! |

I am not a fan of origins, I like the packaging and where they are coming from but it really doesn't do much for my skin. I am older now though so maybe on younger skin it is fine. |

The charcoal mask was my HG mask for years. I used to be able to buy it in a huge 16 oz container for $32 or $36 but the last time I tried to buy it, I could only find it on ebay. I think it does a great job cleaning out the pores and helping to prevent breakouts. My skin always looks so lovely afterwards (if a little red but that goes away).
I am switching to all natural skin care items and the Origins line is not that. They try to pretend they are but they aren't so I've switched masks. They best part is that the mask I am now using I like even BETTER: Dr. H clay mask that you mix up yourself. It's a pain to mix it but my skin is sooooo lovely (even better than w/the Origins mask -- which is saying a lot considering how much I've loved it over the years!) after I use it.
The charcoal mask is a wonderful product though that I highly recommend for acne-prone skin. I never felt that it was too drying either. That's hard to find in an acne mask like that. |

I tried the White Tea thing - it has great hype, doesnt it?
I thought it was just Ok and didnt re - purchase.
I do like their toners for oil control - they really work. but having just read CareKate on oily skin - I hav e a feeling they use milk of magnesium or near enough.. so it's a bit overpriced!
I think they are masterly at packaging and copy, and the products are not a great deal more than quite nice. Just my two cents. |

Have A Nice Day is a great moisturizer, and smells so much better than Dr.H/Mario Badascue... even over Dior, I'll take Origins' moisturizers. |

I have used afew products over the years:
Charcoal mask- nice but be careful if you have small babies around you...they tend to get scared by the masked face.
Never a dull moment scrub- verrry nice, smells yummy and leaves your skin glowing.
never a dull moment cleanser- again very nice.
cream soap- again very good but lasts so long that I got bored and used it on my body.
acne gel-didnt work on my hormonal acne, also left a shiny film on the zit...i binned it
zero-oil-worked okay but leaves a residue...if I remeber correctly

Funny! My kids are so used to it, they never bat an eye with me in it. Even the baby doesn't care. |
