I am looking at getting the antioxidant lip product from Skinceuticals. I have emailed a few ebayers who have good feedback and reasonable postage to Australia.

One of the sellers said that Skinceuticals no longer have sell by dates on their products (she has 100% feedback and a lot of sales) but I wanted to check with you knowledgeable lot first please.
Thanks.

They most certainly do have expiry dates on the boxes. If the products you are receiving are not in the boxes or the boxes do not have expiry dates then they aren't the real thing.
There are several genuine suppliers of Skinceuticals in Australia, let me know if you would like the web sites. Of course, you will pay more for the genuine product.

I'd love the web sites - thank you Bushy.
Very Happy

I'd much rather pay more and be sure I'm getting the proper product.

Try these ones:
http://www.treatment-skincare.com/
http://www.betterskin.com.au/
http://www.activeskin.com.au/

Although the first one is a dot com it is located in Melbourne and contains a vast amount of information.I have purchased from all of them with no problems at all.

I bought their clarifying cleanser and acne gel, and they have expiration dates on the bottles.

and also you need to be careful about their serum. i have a sample bottle and I had opened it once, but last night when I used it, it already went yellow or brown.

I have been purchasing and using SkinCeuticals products for over 2 years from Skinstore.com and DermaDoctor.com. I have the Simply Clean Cleanser, Equalizing Toner, CE & Ferulic Serum, B5 Gel, Eye Balm and Intense Line Defense Serum (and used to use Retinol .5) and I have never seen an expiration date on any SkinCeutical containers or boxes. The numbers on the bottom of the boxes and bottles are batch serial numbers.

Cellex-C products put expiration dates on their product boxes.

Australia may be different but the genuine product boxes here have expiry dates on them.

I bought something from an ebay seller. She also sells skinceuticals products. She has good feedback but I have not received my package despite her claiming to have sent it on 19 October. I will PM you her name.

Looks like expiration dates are only put on products that ship to outside the U.S.

Thank you for your interest in SkinCeuticals. Expiration dates are printed only on products which have ingredients required by the FDA to have an expiration date (the sunblocks, the Clarifying Cleanser, and the Blemish Control Gel). Additionally, all products exported out of the country are printed with expiration dates as required by international law, but these products should not be available for purchase in the US. Should you have further questions, please feel free to contact Customer Service at 800-811-1660. Thanks again and have a great day.

Subject: SkinCeuticals - Expiration Dates?

Hello:
I have been using SkinCeuticals products for over 2 years (Simply Clean Cleanser, Equalizing Toner, CE & Ferulic Serum (used to use C + AHA Serum), B5 Gel, Eye Balm and Intense Line Defense Serum (and used to use Retinol .5)). I was wondering if SkinCeuticals prints the expiration date of products on the containers or boxes? Someone mentioned to me that they have expiration dates on their SkinCeutical products, but I have never seen any dates, and in fact what I see looks like a batch number or serial number on the bottom of the container/box. If you could let me know, that would be great! Thanks.

I resurrected this thread, as I just unearthed an almost full jar of Skinceuticals daily moisture from the depths of my skincare collection. It's not in the box and has no expiration date on the jar (which would make sense from reading the above since I bought it in the States). But...it must be well over 4 years old, and it had been opened - it looks and smells absolutely fine, but I'm not sure it could possibly still be good after all this time. Any thoughts?

I don't think it would be harmful but in terms of anything beneficial, I think that would be long gone. If it were me, I would be using it as a leg/foot moisturiser rather than on my face.

I think I'll do just that - it's a very light-weight moisturiser but if I slather enough on I'm sure my feet will still appreciate it!
