| I saw the purple liner and mascara, as part of "intensify your eye color" set of Almay. I've never used Almay. Is it any good? Years ago I tried Maybelline mascara and had a horrid horrid experience, so I'm a bit nervous. Has anybody used the new set - with the eye shadows, the liner and the mascara? TIA |

| I've tried the shadow and liner. I'm blue/green eyed but wasn't sure about those colors so went with the neutrals for brown eyes. I thought the eyeliner was ok - mediocre. I did think the purple was interesting. |

Hi Agent, I tried the Almay intensify your eyecolor kit. Shadows are OK, they go on well and lasted all day. I don't use the eyeliner, [personal preference against liquid eyeliner]
I have light brown eyes and can use either scheme for brown or hazel. The mascara was fine and the price is right.... Used black on the entire lash, then purple on the tips looks very cool 
I really like Almay mascara is NOT waterproof, yet it doesn't wear off until I remove it

| I tried the topaz mascara and I did like it. It seemed to lenghthen more than add volume but I think it was bugging my eyes. My eyes would water like crazy when I wore it. I gave it to a friend that had no problems. I have really sensitive eyes. I also used the liner (one end was navy blue the other was light blue). I did not like it at all. It did not wear well, smudged and the light blue "highlighter" did not go on nice at all...it clumped like crazy. I havent tried the eyeshadows. |

| I've tried The Insider, one of the volumizing formulas and the brown version for the intensify your eye color thing and wasn't too impressed with any of them. I'm not fond of the creamy texture that Almay mascaras tend to have. It might look great on someone with thick, full lashes already, but tends to weigh down my fine, sparse ones and look clumpy. (But then, I like Maybelline mascaras, so maybe Almay is the way for you to go!) |

| I tried both. The liner was horrible on me. I looked ill. The mascara was okay. It wasn't really bright on me, but did add some subtle color. I didn't get any irritation, but I don't really like the brush in this product at all. It just wants to be clumpy. |
