Great! Thanks for that Very Happy I only wear nudes too, I wish I could wear darker shades but my lips are also very thin & hence even look thinner with dark lipsticks/glosses. But hopefully maybe in a few months time I can use these. Wink

I peeled after the 3rd or 4th day for a couple of days. Then I peeled again last week.

Tuesday my lips were looking pretty damn good ... imagine my irritation when I was so busy (in meetings) that I couldn't apply anything for most of the day.

Even today - I did slightly better - but I think overall I'm falling behind again.

question I haven't read every page of this thread but is no one bothered that you can only wear their lipstick/gloss.

What about all of you other lip stuff--do you just throw it away! (gasp)

Initially, I was interested in this system but this turned me off to getting it..thoughts?

I have been reading all the pages of I am still bewildered... The state of my lips are in a crisis and I might just want to try this. Have I got the right picture here?
- You get three products in the pack, one exfoliator and one moisturizer and something else.
- You use a hairdryer for rapid absorption in the evening.
- You keep applying the day time products all the time during the day.
- You don't use anything else, no balm, no colour.
- At first your lips feel dry and tight and then they peel badly. (This puts me off as I could not go to work with scaly lips)
- You exfoliate and after the peeling your lips look better than ever.
- You keep using the system otherwise they go back to original state.

I am thinking; the peeling sounds too horrible - how quick is this process?
Is it like replacing a lip gloss * spam alert * with a Lips2Kiss * spam alert *?
Are the ingredients unique here? I am thinking it sounds like a combination of some acid or retinol which causes peeling and hyaluronic acid to make them swell up with moisture.

Actually my lips didn't peel that much...or haven't yet I should say! There are 4 products in the pack, i.e. the lip exfoliative, night lip cream, liquid gold & the night glaze. You are supposed to use a hair dryer after applying the liquid gold to help with absorption Question In terms of using the products during the day, I'm a little confused myself actually hmm, as I'm using the liquid gold & then the night glaze on top, I'm not 100% sure if this is right?! But I'm sure Kandis will visit the forum soon & answer all your questions. Wink

Thank you Safire, that is so nice of you to take the time to explain. What really appeals to me about this system is that there are no waxes in these products. I really believe they are not good for the lips and tend to cause break outs around the lips for me. In fact, I try not to wear any lipstick or gloss as they really irritate my lips and cause instant peeling. Just wish I could find out more about the ingredients in this set...

- You get three products in the pack, one exfoliator and one moisturizer and something else. The 4 that Safire mentioned

- You use a hairdryer for rapid absorption in the evening. 90 seconds at night only

- You keep applying the day time products all the time during the day. Yes

- You don't use anything else, no balm, no colour. You don't use any other product other than what can be purchased through Lips2Kiss, as only they are compatible. I use the treatment system and her colors so as not to feel naked.

- At first your lips feel dry and tight and then they peel badly. (This puts me off as I could not go to work with scaly lips) This is no biggie since my lips peeled like this regularly anyways. No one will notice the peeling and you keep using her products to soften your lips. No pain or anything crazy.

- You exfoliate and after the peeling your lips look better than ever. You exfoliate every night to every 2 nights regardless. It's part of the treatment and probably what keeps the peelies down.

- You keep using the system otherwise they go back to original state. Yes, it is a long-term system, but as many mentioned here we feel that after your lips have rejuvenated, it will probably be fine to wear your favorite color glosses, balms, etc. Of course, I really can't say until I get there, but I'm hoping to use other colored balms like Carekate's on down the road.

I am thinking; the peeling sounds too horrible - how quick is this process? To me it cycles, but as I mentioned it isn't noticeable to anyone but you and not painful.

Is it like replacing a lip gloss * spam alert * with a Lips2Kiss * spam alert *? I'm a bit confused here myself, as to me if the lips have rejuvenated then they should be able to function properly again on their own. I think the fact that we will almost always want to use color keeps you having to use this system. You probably wouldn't have to if you went with bare lips for the rest of your life. I on the other hand, love to experiment with colors! Very Happy

Are the ingredients unique here? I am thinking it sounds like a combination of some acid or retinol which causes peeling and hyaluronic acid to make them swell up with moisture. I can't really say since the formula isn't published, but there are supposedly 9 different active ingredients in this system.

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to touch base since I started this "very long" thread(lol) and I've probably been using the products the longest (since November). I have to say that my lips look really, really wonderful. I have not experienced any of the peeling that some of you have (but Kandis and I figured out that I was definitely not using enough product)...but even so...my upper lip is much more plump (I'm really sorry that I didn't do before and after pics)..my upper lip line is much more defined..and the 4 products (which I never thought I would get the hang of) are now as easy to use as brushing my teeth!

I am now going to make a concerted effort to re-apply during the day and see if that ignites the peeling action. For those of you who need color, the Sexy Mama lipgloss does the trick and you are not using a product that is outside the system. I have been very good about not rubbing my lips together and I just sort of dab the product into my lips...I love how it feels when I do this. I think these products really do go into the lip tissues...because the product sits on top of your lips for a few seconds..but then it penetrates for lack of a better word.

I'm still waiting for someone (besides me) to comment on my juicy lips...but I promise I will post here as soon as it happens!! I have to say...I don't think I've ever had an owner of a company actually check in with me to see how I was doing (w/o me initiating a question)...now that's impressive!

Loving all of your comments and help!

Hollywood, thanks for your update. I have been wondering how you have been doing on this program.

Is the Sexy Mama the nude pink color? How opaque/sheer is it?

I would love a pinky nude, but somewhat opaque not to sheer.

be glad when K. gets some swatchs put up on her site!

Do you realistically think the kit will last a month, even with the liberal application required throughout the day? I have had it a week, and I am concerned I will run out of Night Glaze to soon.

I am starting to get a tiny bit of peeling now I think. Just started. I can't see it, but can feel it.

I'm so glad you checked in hollywood. I've wondered about how you were doing. Kandis told me that she would be putting up the Sexy Mama color in January. Now, is that the gloss or the regular lip color? I'm confuzeled.

Smoothskin,
My peeling was gentle much like Tamgirls but I want to point out that my lips were not in the condition that you're saying your lips are in. I cannot imagine this system not helping you. I've been a skin/make up addict for my entire adult life and I've purchased a lot of dud products but this one is definitely in my top three products in delivering on promises. I enjoy the blow dryer at night, it feels good and I've not had any problems with it drying out my skin. Kandis believes in her system and wants it to be used as it's intended and I appreciate that.

The Sexy Mama shade is quite sheer..to me it almost feels like a tinted version of the night glaze and is a nude/slightly berry shade..I would say it feels like the night glaze when I apply it. With my initial kit, I purchased the Napa Wine lip color and I just dab a little of that on top if I want a deeper color (similar to one of the other gals who had a neat method of dabbing and mixing). I am truly pale, (think mummified-pale), so if I don't have a little color on my lips..people ask me if I'm feeling well!! lol

As to how long the products will last..hmmm..I think I've been quite parsimonious about application (which I've discoovered is not good)...as I'm on a limited budget...so I still have my original kit from November with about 40% of the product remaining. I've been applying about a pea-size amount morning and evening..but have not been during the day. All that is about to change!

I, too, have wasted a lot of money on dud products. This ranks right up there in my top 3 fave purchases.

Thanks for posting Hollywood! I almost started a new thread. This is the first thread that has me exasperated. I keep reading the same questions on each page.

Hi Everyone - here I am again

Thank you Hollywood, BluesHeart and TAMgirl99 (who incidentally deserves the credit for the lipcolor trick which allows you to wear the color from the beginning and whose directions I posted on the previous page) - thank you ladies for addressing and answering questions and concerns from the other forum members Wink

Before I clarify the difference between the lipgloss and the color with HA, let me just reassure all of you that once your lips are rejuvenated, your can wear whatever color and or product you desire. If the products you apply to your lips don't allow your lip tissues to be hydrated, and you continually wear those products, you will be once again subjecting your lip tissues to "prolonged hydration deprivation" and eventually they will return to their former state. It certainly won't be immediate because we'll have a formidable barrier repair (we're building collagen and elastin right now to fortify that barrier which will keep the moisture supply in your lips and prevent "transepidermal water loss" in your lip tissue layers). The clinically tested botanical lipid complexes in your liquid gold are responsible for this. Incidentally, the container for your LG had to be solid as artifical light in the lab was "activating" the formula and we don't want it "activated" until you apply it to your lips!

So for those of you who want to incorporate other lip color products into your lifestyle, ONCE your lips have been rejuvenated, I would suggest you alternate between using one of L2K's 11 lipgloss colors, and or one of L2K's 11 long wearing colors, and your other favorite brands, while continuing with your L2K night time treatment. (There will never be a lip treatment which will be superior to this one!) As new technologies emerge from reputable worldwide companies which sell exclusively to us (bona fide skin care companies)I am the first one to play 'guinea pig' after I have my chemist add to my system the technologies which show promise, and I can usually tell with just a few applications if the added ingredient will be beneficial, then I distribute the system with the added technology to my testers. I then document results for a specified period of time, prior to incorporating the new technology into the system. This has been and will continue to be my mode of operation, ensuring that our lips ALWAYS have the most cutting edge technology available. And YES, this system, with its 4 separate products, has a total of 9 CUTTING EDGE TECHNOLOGIES! (and retinol and any other acid besides hyaluronic acid is not present). Please ladies revisit the website and go to the Spa Lipcare System category. Once there, in the left hand menu click the wording, "Why the Lipcare System works" - several of the system's ingredients are listed. They are categorized according to each of the four products.

I'm going to post again immediately, and address the color and lipgloss issue and a few others. I'll be right back.

I FINALLY ORDERED THE SYSTEM!!! Dancing
I am so happy I finally did it. I exchanged several e-mails with Kandis - and yes, her CS is superb!
I have such high hopes and expectations of the system. I'll keep you posted on my progress.

This is my second post regarding L2K system. I am loving it. I haven't peeled yet but that is OK. My lips are lookin' good and they are soft and getting a pink color.

Also:

1) I feel I am wasting the products by putting it on my finger to distribute per Kandi's instructions. I know she says not to waste it and put what's left from your finger on your cuticles etc. but I feel in a way that that is wasting the product. I bought it for my lips and I want it to last as long as possible.

2) I am out and about during the day and am following her instructions to the "T" and putting the LG and NG on so many times I have lost count. The problem with putting it on your finger first poses a problem because I feel I need to wash my hands before so as to get the germs off. Germs from grocery cart, door handles, etc. if you know what I mean. And it's kinda hard to put it on your finger then lips while driving.

3) I find the NG very thin and trying to put in on my lips with the applicator sometimes runs down my chin. Maybe I'm just klutsie (sp) and the only one this happens to.

I have come up with a solution for me. First, I put my LG on with the applicator, not my finger. I put my NG in an empty roller ball applicator and put in on with that. This is so easy for me and I can do it while driving, no messy fingers and no waste. As I said above I spend more time putting this stuff on than I do talking, which means ALOT.

I really love the L2K product and know it "IS WORKING". So if there is anybody on the fence about this, jump down and place your order.

I'm back -

Ok - thank you for all the input regarding samples. I'll certainly give them a try and hopefully one of the options will work. I'll keep you posted. What I've just started doing is putting a swatch of the colors from the actual tubes, on the invoices. The color looks much darker in the tube than the shade it goes on. Plus you do have some control as you can wipe the wand off as you're withdrawing it from the tube to get less for a lighter softer look.

When you apply the NG, instead of resorting to putting it in a roller ball, what I do is this: remove the cap of course, bring it up to my lips and gently tip it, without squeezing it, to apply what I need; then with the tube upright, cap still off, I use the dispensing end to smooth it out on my lip surface. (Yes when I recommended using your finger to apply the product I was referring to your night-time routine when I assumed your hands would be clean. I totally was not considering the daytime use so I shall make the changes to my directions - thank you.

Again ladies you may either use the LG + NG or the LC + NG during the day. Either one is fine - it is your preference - what works best for you.

Now to the colors. There currently is only one choice, which is the Penetratable long wearing lipcolor with Hyaluronic Acid (HA). Unless you use TAMgirl's color trick, your lips need hydration for the color to bond. Once there is sufficient moisture in your lip tissues, then this lipcolor will last several hours. This color lets the glaze (the glaze formulated to use over the color so we shall call it glaze for color) - your color lets the glaze absorb right through it so we're hydrating your lip tissues all day long while your color will stay in place. Now I have formulated 11 lipcolor choices, though only a few are on the site. I'm awaiting the arrival of my new tubes to fill any of the other color choices. Those of you who are using the system will have input into which colors you'd like filled first. I'll send an email to all of my clients showing the different color selections. You'll put them in the order you want them filled starting with the 1st. My clients input will be what decides the order they are offered. Incidentally, this is the first lipcolor with HA, and it is the 2nd ingred in the formulation, deionized water being the 1st. With the combination of the water and the HA, and the fact the HA is in such a large %, this lipcolor adds volume to your lips while wearing the color due to the moisture being retained in your lip tissues.

Now the 2nd color selection is in the form of lipglossses. I have given several of you these lipglosses as they were my samples. I have formulated 11 colors of lipglosses also and once again, when my new tubes arrive, you, my clients shall determine which lipgloss colors will be filled first. The lipgloss can be worn immediately when you first start the system. It gradually absorbs so reapplication during the day is necessary (which we want) and it has a lipo-filler in it. The lipo-filler, by virtue of being re-applied throughout the day, adds volume that is not just temporary. So while you're lips are being rejuvenated, you can use the lipglosses, the LG + NG, the LC + NG and or a combination. (The lipcream is nourishing and healing. It also has a lipo-filler in addition to everything else it has. The Liquid Gold interrupts the aging process and is essential in the cessation of the pulling of the underlying tissues as well as rebuilding your lips' barrier repair so there is no "transepidermal water loss" because your collagen and elastin have greatly increased, through cell proliferation and matrix renewal. (whew -) I'm hopeful you can see, as I attempt to enlighten you about my system, that those 4 little products each have specific functions and together they work synergistically to achieve all the promises I make you. (Another interesting tidbit - the order of ingredients with certain technologies (there are 9 different ones in your system) make all the difference with success or failure).

Now back to the lipglosses. I have formulated 11 different ones. To tide us over while waiting for my new tubes, I’m having my lab make 2 lipgloss colors for me which shall arrive this month. Those two colors are the Sexy Mama and my Drama Queen. As soon as these 2 arrive, I shall send all of my clients an email notifying you of their arrival and the colors, in a tear-drop form, will be posted on the site. These 2 lipglosses are being filled in my liquid gold tubes. They will be re-labeled so as not to confuse you with the LG itself. Again this is simply to tide us over until the arrival of my new tubes.

Now the last thing I recall needing to be addressed was in regards to how long the system lasts. Most all of my testers have used and are using just 1 system a month, with the exception of a few whose lips were in such a terribly dry, dehydrated state that it seemed their lips couldn’t get enough, in which case I told them to use as much as their lips could absorb. If any of you find yourselves in this situation, consider how long your lips have been subjected to “prolonged hydration deprivation”. You now actually have a system that will turn them around and give you all the results I promise you, so by all means, use as much as your lips need and can absorb. They’ve waited years, literally, for this. Indulge them. You’ll be so very glad you did !!!

Thanks for this information, Kandis! It is really helpful.

Ladies, I am on night 3 using my system. When I went to remove my makeup last night, my lips were quite peely toward the inside area. I exfoliated and ALL the dead skin came off - my lips looked brand new! Today my lips have no peeling at all, and I am finding that they stay quite moisturized with the product on them during the day, meaning I don't need to reapply product twice an hour, though I do reapply frequently throughout the day.

I thought I was going to have a real problem going without lip color of any sort during the day and that my fully made-up face would look unfinished with just a glossy mouth, no lipliner or anything. While ideally I'd love to have a finished mouth, its not nearly as bad as I thought it would look with nothing (other than L2K product) on the lips. I thought my natural lips had no color at all, but in reality, they are actually a nice pink shade, so going without color/lipliner/lipstick is really not a problem for me.

Also, I do the blow-dry step in the morning, too. It only takes less than 2 minutes and feels so nice.

Questions for Kandis:
(1) How do we go about obtaining some of the lipgloss from you (via your website? do we PM or e-mail you?) and what is the price point on it?
(2) Could you describe the Sexy Mama and Drama Queen colors for us?
(3) Is it OK that I do the L2K blow-dry step twice in a day (AM and PM)?
(4) I love the texture of the Face2Flaunt Line Eliminator! Is it an all-over face serum or should it only be used on specific expression lines? I use is all around my eye (lid included) - is that OK?
Thank you for all of your support! I know we all appreciate it so much!

MermaidGirl - to answer your questions Sweetheart

(1) How do we go about obtaining some of the lipgloss from you (via your website?)

Everyone using the cosmeceutical system will receive an email letting you know the 2 lipgloss colors are available and can be viewed on the website.

(2) Could you describe the Sexy Mama and Drama Queen colors for us?
Sexy Mama is a soft, light mauve/berry - very flattering for all skin and hair colors; Drama Queen is a very soft pink with hints of white blended beautifully - similar to J.Lo's look that compliments the young as well as the 'more mature' woman. (I tried pasting the colors into this forum - wouldn't allow me to do so. I'll have their colors on the site the moment they arrive)

(3) Is it OK that I do the L2K blow-dry step twice in a day (AM and PM)?
That's not necessary honey to get the results I promise you; though I dont see it will hurt. I have done that on occasion but it was in the afternoon, not when I first awakened.

(4) I love the texture of the Face2Flaunt Line Eliminator! Is it an all-over face serum or should it only be used on specific expression lines? I use is all around my eye (lid included) - is that OK?
Yes, the Line Eliminator (LE) is effective on all lines and wrinkles. It assists in activating gene receptors involved in cellular matrix renewal and cell proliferation. When you combine the LE with the system's effect of the cessation of the drawstring effect, the anti-wrinkle efficacy on the skin and tissue above the lips is maximized meaning any wrinkles above the lips will be eliminated sooner. In addition to myself, two dozen of my testers around the country tested the LE for over 6 months, all with tremendous success on all facial lines and wrinkles. Several of us "mature ones" also experienced wonderful results on our 'necks' and our 'upper chest area' as well. In addition to it's anti-wrinkle effects, it also lifts and firms. High concentrations of Palmitoyl Oligopeptide and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide 7 are in the LE serum. No wax, wax derivatives or petroleum by products are present. MermaidGirl, just keep it out of your eyes darling.

GREAT posts Kandis! I think reading all your posts certainly answers a lot of questions for the curious and first-time users.

MermainGirl love question #3 - I, uh, never thought about it but did use the blow-dry system maybe 2 or 3 times a day when I first started.

Overall, the blow dryer can be a little time consuming but now I sync that with drying my skin lotions and sort of just thinking about the day.

My lips looked ABSOLUTELY fantastic on Tuesday, not so on Wednesday because they were horribly neglected. Thursday looked better and today look almost as good as Tuesday ... thanks to TAMGirl's tip.

Glad I could help Rjez! Very Happy

I'm about to order my second set of the system (without the exfoliant) and hope Kandis gets those sample glosses up soon! Very Happy

Kandis sent me my second order last week! I keep a set in my bag (for work) and a set at home. I figure I've invested too much time to give up now - I do see a slight improvement and some days are 'wow'. I think I'm going to use Carekate's overnight lip treatment during the day too since I've been using this for several weeks.

My lips are in their second round of peeliness. I hate it! Confused I keep rubbing my lips together to feel the hard flaky skin inside the oily lip glaze. Bleagh!

Kandis, Thanks so much for all your input.
Pocoloco, Can you let us know when the peeling stops? Cheers!
