Thanks for the straw tip.

Actually, I just checked myself... I don't stick my tongue out anymore. I kinda press it against the straw which is against the back of my top teeth. Does that make any sense? I still make the straw sucking motion, though... maybe I have an overbite. Crying or Very sad

If I forget to do the blowdry step at night should I do it in the morning? I was just too tired last night. Well, I went ahead and did it anyways, couldn't hurt. I guess.

I actually do the blowdry step twice a day - at night and in the morning. Kandis said it was OK and everything seems fine for me!

Just checking in and post about my Sexy Mama lip gloss. I love it! It is a lovely pink berry shade and gives sheer color to the lips. I was afraid it would be too sheer but it definitely gives noticeable color to my lips. Of course my lips are pretty light so anything would add color pretty much.

I also wanted to mention that my lips look more plump again and now I'm wondering how long these products are effective for. I had my last set for 2 months and over the last two weeks I hadn't noticed much improvement, even though I was using them quite often. Has anyone else noticed this?

*smacks head* I had intended to order both glosses but then wondered if DQ would look decent on me so I deleted it from my cart. Or so I thought. My package came today and no Sexy Mama but DQ. It looks much better than I thought and I like the feel as I'm not a big gloss person but I wanted SM. Off to reorder.

Wanted to add the texture and feel is different from the treatments.

I'm so sorry to hear that! I didn't order the DQ since I thought it might be too light and frosty for me. Glad you like it! I agree the texture and feel is different. To me it's almost a mix between the LG and the NG.

That's a good comparison Tam. Did you get some tingle? I think my tube may be frozen as I can see light pink down in the tube but when I pull the applicator up I'm not seeing much pink.

Just an update for those who care.

I did receive a semi-complete ingredient list for the L2K lip product line. Proprietary ingredients were not listed, which is fine by me, as I have a fairly good idea what they are so no issues personally.

But just wanted to add, based on the info, the products do contain active ingredients that could possibly replicate the marketing and picture claims, based on repeated applications as directed.

So there are ingredients in the products that can do what they claim. I am not saying they will work for everyone of course. But the products do have a basis for the product claims made.

This is helpful Tangal. Just one question - are lipglosses also rich in those key active ingredients?
Thanks, R. Smile

I have not yet received the gloss info in detail yet. But K did provide a little bit of info on the glosses, and they do have some of the same "activities".
So I would say "yes".

Just not sure how much/many. It is my understanding they are not a 100% replacement overall for the treatment products, but do have some of the same activities. So useing them will still provide some treatment effects. But probably less then the actual Spa Treatments products in the "kit"

Thanks Tangal. K did tell me that glosses can be used during the day alone, but it would be good to know how much treatment are we getting from them.
Please let us know when you get all the info.
Thanks, R. Smile

Kandis sent me a bit more info. And basically my understanding is:

The Glosses are a close equivalent to the Night Glaze in treatment effect. So the glosses have all the treatment ingredients as the Night Glaze. If using glosses only all day, it is like using NG only all day.

But she also said, if you are using the glosses, or the Penitratable color, she feels best results are obtained from using LC + NG with LG + NG as the best overall option. (with Penitratable color, you would need to remove color to do that, but with glosses treatment can go right over the top of them with treatments)

Night Cream works most effectively at the 1/3 Ratio. (NC/NG/NG/NG)

Liquid Gold can be used alone, but is less hydrating. (LG/LG/LG)

Liquid Gold followed by Night Glaze at a 1/2 or 1/3 Ration was the most Hydrating. (LG/NG/NG/NG)

Liquid Gold wait 20 min then Night Glaze is not as moisterizing. Works better if LG is applied and NG is apply within 15 seconds.

I guess Kandis will not be posting here to prevent issues. I will update as I get info from her, and hopefully others will as well. Maybe that way we can sort it all out so it makes sense to everyone. Wink

She does have some interesting new facial products in the works as well as a bunch of new colors. So that’s some things to look forward too.

Hi Ladies

I love this forum, but don't post much. I feel compelled to sing the praises of the lips2kiss system. I have had this thing over the years about how to get my lips their absolute best. You must be patient with this but if you stick with your lips will look great, and the the plump seems to stay - it doesn't disappear. I have found that my whole look appears younger and fresher when my lips look good. It takes some practice getting the lip color on right but Kandis is a doll, super patient and will help guide you thru it. I can't say enough good things about these products.

Are you in the maintance phase now? What steps do you do daily to maintain?

Thanks Tangal for the info. Linda, nice to have you weigh in. I too would love to know how long you've been using L2K.

Here's a little FYI from Kandis. Normally, the bottom lip is the first to plump, then the top. I'm unusual that my top lip plumped first.

Oh, yeah, I had forgotten you had mentioned this. Thanks MermaidGirl

Tangal, Should we e-mail KANDIS if we want the partial ingr. list? Thank you for keeping us informed. It is greatly appreciated.

BluesHeart- You're so lucky your top lip was first. It will be week 4 on Sat. and If something happens to my top lip I will probably reorder. But it looks the same, and unfortuneatly I really can't remember to apply every 20 mins. I'll just use up the rest of my system and quit. Maybe try again when the kids are older.

When I do the blowdry step at night: My bottom lip looks nice. I can't imagine what it would look like much plumper (it doesn't last long). It looks kinda funny because I have short width lips (small mouth). But I when I smile or laugh, I just love my bottom lip.

Yes, I would email Kandis, for ingrediant info. As I cannot post specifics here.

I have a slight softening/puffing after 4 weeks, thats all. Though lips "seem" healthyier.

But I am giving it another month, as I have seen some pics on the site, that did not really change until 60 or 90 days.

So I will see how I do at 60 days and decide from there. Wink

I do like the Face To Flaunt product sample, but without more detailed ingrediant or percentage info, I would probably not order this.

K said she will be getting that info over to me though, so hopefully that is the case.

But at one point somewhere she said competetors use 1/3 less Mexorly 3000 (in their more expensive products) then the amount in her product. (the product she mentioned uses the max lab recomended amounts by the manufacterer)

Which concerns me a lot. Useing peptides at 3 times the labs suggested effectiveness amount for longterm use is not something I feel comfy with personally.

Hopefully K can clarify the amounts used, and then I can decide.

Zumlya,
I don't have small children so maybe that makes a difference. I had enough of a change in the beginning to merit giving it two months. In all honesty, I don't expect full results from any product within a months time. I'm sorry if it doesn't work for you since I've been so happy. I'm looking kind of funny now with my top lip so much fuller than my bottom but I think the bottom is starting to plump. *crosses fingers* I'm not crazy about the look of lip augmentation using fillers so this turned out to work well for me plus the added bonus of the lip lines disappearing. That's a big WOOO HOOO.

Crossing my fingers for you.

Oh, I'm not giving up just yet!
You are absolutely right. I love the way my lips feel. I can definately tell something is working. I just can't do it every 20 mins. I am however doing it every 20 when I can.
I have an 8,7,6 y/o, and 21 m/o running around, plus my DH... I wasn't thinking when I bought this system. I don't want to stop. I just don't want to waste money. I mean, If I thought my top lip would just peel a teeny-tiny bit I would repurchase. Very Happy

**cries**

I am probably going to run out of glaze in a few days. Is the glaze that comes with the lip color the same?
I have half creme left and who knows how much liquid gold. I kept it upright for half a day and checked the wand looks like a little less than half. I'm not sure how accurate that is.

Oh, and I barely used up any of the exfol... maybe a fourth.

just buy a tube of night glaze for $20 then.....That will give you a few more weeks to decide. Though you can rebuy the kit minus the exfoliant for $50
I did that even though I still had exfo, 1/2 tube of cream and some gold left. Since I knew I wanted to stick with the product for another month.

I don't think lack of peeling means its not working at all. Everyone differes on how they peel. And many don't peel at all for at least 30 days.

I might just buy the NG then. Too bad there's not a LG/NG discount.

I also find that these products are going faster, especially the Night Glaze partly because I get so much out of the tube every time. I wish it was on a wand applicator like the Liquid Gold...

I keep looking in here to see if anyone has posted any before and after pics - are any due?

I'm most intrigued to see results!
