Just wanted to wish all Americans a Happy Thanksgiving. Remember it's not just an excuse to overeat. Hope everyone can be with friends and family on this day to give thanks. I'll celebrate shortly but unfortunately I have to work at the hospital tonight at 7pm. So please also give thanks for all of us who work in the healthcare field this day to take care of your friends and family members.  |

| Not to be a downer, ParisTroika, but my dad died the day before Thanksgiving. It wasn't really my favorite holiday before that, but now I dread it because I feel sad all day. We usually spend it with my in-laws, and I have to act cheerful. They don't understand anything outside their family. |

My Grandma died last Christmas eve, so I kind of know how that feels, when holidays are not as happy as they used to be.
