Anyone tried this brand? Went shopping today and found this line and it looks interesting. Not that expensive (Here in Switzerland that is), but would like to know other peoples experience with this line, by the way they have two lines, essential and exclusive. No perservatives or perfume (an some other stuff) sounds good to me, but if noone tried it I might consider being a guinea-pig...

I am not familiar with this line. Can you obtain any ingredient listing? I never saw it here in Canada. How popular is it in Switzerland? What is the price range in Switzerland? Who owns this skincare line? What other type of business did they do? |

I'm not familiar with this line either, that's why I asked! Unfortenatly no list of ingredients on their homepage, but on monday I going to ask for samples and ingredients so I can update on that later. Pricerange I don't exactly remember, but mayeb about 40 USD for products in the essential line? At least it wasn't la Prairie-expencive...
I have no idea how popular this line is, but apparantly the sell all over the world. As it comes to ownership, I don't know for sure. It a company called Skincode ag, and is developed and produced in the Zürich area. If there's any other companys behind it I don't know. |

Generally, I love Swiss skincare products. Take a look at Cellcosmet.....no one can figure out what makes it so good and when they stop using it, they notice that the skin does not look as good. |

I did a quick google search...found an article from this month mentioning that Walgreen's was scheduled to pick up this line and other European lines in an effort to offer more expensive/exclusive (as exclusive as Walgreen's can get I guess ) options.
http://www.palmbeachpost.com/shopping/content/accent/epaper/2006/11/10/a4e_Walgreens_beauty_1110.html
I personally have never tried Swiss skincare at all, mainly because the lines I usually find and are lemming for (like Cellcosmet) are so far out of my price range...but this might be a good chance to try something!
The Swiss know their stuff! I'm in roller derby and Swiss ceramic bearings are the Louis Vuitton of skate bearings... |

Ok, I've been shopping! Really couldn't decide what to buy so I ended up buing a kit with 4 products, intensive lifting serum, firming eye gel, regenerating night cream and protective day cream. All 1/2 size of ordinary size for about 40 usd (or 49 chf). Goog value for money, I think, since 1 product full size cost about the same as the kit. And I also got samples of products not in the kit.
According to the SA it's a very good line, and also popular. Don't know if I believe her, she's supposed to sell! So far I can only say that the packaging is nice and simple, and the products seems nice to. No smell, feels good on the skin. |

Hello,
Would like to tell you a little bit more about Skincode.
Created by people with more than 100 years of combined skincare experience incl. the ex top management of brand La Prairie. Skincode is using the same R&D people as when that brand was started.
The brand is today sold in some 30+ markets world wide.
Skincode Essentials, one of the purest skincare ranges in the world (dermatologist approved)was recently chosen by US drugstore giant Walgreens as one of their favorite European brands and was just launched this October.
The Exclusive range is based on the anti-aging principle of cell rejuvenation and is more for the 35+ consumer.
The Skincode products don't promise miracles, but guarantee a results.

I bought a starterkit last week, so I do have the list of ingredients for some products (see earlier post from me), but I have no time to write all down now. Which products do you want to know more about?
Anyway, so far I like the eys zone gel very much, but have not decided on the other products. Hard to tell any difference after only 1 week. The only product I've put away is the protective day cream since I think it broke me out, and it was not moisturising enough for winter. Will try it again later.
NM, could you tell more about the actual products? Active ingredients? Reviews? |

Schnee I don't have a specific product in mind I just want to see the ingredients to get a sense of the brand. At least for me seeing complete ingredient lists is how I really judge a product. If you have the time you can post the ingredients for one of the cleansers or moisturizers. But don't go out of your way to type ingredients-I know it can be a hassle. |

Where did you get the starter kit from? Will Walgreen sell these in the stores or just on line? |

I bought my starter kit in Manor in Switzerland, so I don't know what you can get at Walgreens. I guess you could get it online?
Ingredients for firming eye zone gel (it's short...)
water, glycerin, butylene glycol, PEG-8, hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel)extract, caprylyl glycol, panthenol, carbomer, propylene glycol, PPG-26-buteth-26, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, sodium hydroxide, sodium carboxymethyl beta-glucan, sodium hyaluronate, sodium polyacrylate
Puh, long enough.. |

They used to sell this in my country pharmacy, but think now not has stop carrying this brand. Tried the whitening cream few years back, the texture was very light and good brightening effect. not sure whether the products ingredients are still the same, cos i tried it like 5 years back. |

This is NM again,
Well, I do know quite a lot about Skincode as I'm the company President. Sometimes I go online to see what people around the world have to say about our products - interesting.
As we believe that objective and honest information is key in this business, we would be more than happy to provide anyone out there with as much information as possible. For a complete ingredient listing or "fact sheet" on any Skincode product, please write a request to our Skincode website.

Walgreens near my place sold it now, the price is around US $20-$40(max). I wonder if they are overpriced or not. Walgreens also sell other European line of beauty products. I can't remember the names, but it really makes me tempted. I hope they will run some discount promotions later on those items. |
