| Is badger or boar bristle softer? Does one hold mineral makeup better than the other? |

That's an interesting question. I'm aware of boar bristle toothbrushes, hair brushes, shaving brushes and nail brushes but not makeup brushes. Isn't it too coarse and stiff for mmu application?
I know, also, that badger bristle is used for shaving brushes.
I have both sable and black squirrel brushes for my mmu. These keep the mmu well-dispersed through the brush for a softer application.

| Badger is pretty soft. I don't think boar is used in mineral makeup brushes though. It's pretty rough. well, except for a boar bristle brow brush that I have. I also have a boar bristle hair brush. |

I have this brush and I find it very soft. Right now it's my favorite blush brush! Very easy to control coverage as opposed to fuller brushes, although it took a while to get used to the flatness of it!
Although I should add, that I don't have sensitive skin.... so not sure what you sensitive skin girls would think. Definitely soft enough for me though. |
