Thanks Tiger_Tim,
do you like this tonic? Would you suggest it for a sensitive skin? I know that it doesn't include alcohol, but in the description it described as some sort of pilling. I'm afraid that it would irritate my already irritated skin. |

it was not irritating at all... I gave it a great review over on the review board (just do a search for it and you can find it easily).. I never finished mine off as I started going back to more natural products, but it really is a nice toner and skin is left soft (but to really feel benefit you have to be using this after the Cellcosmet Activator Gel). |

Ultra Vital is a very good moisterizer. It is extremely concentrated and if you have combo. skin, just apply a little onto your hands, rub them together and pat onto your face. |

hi SKINCARE
i heard about that vital ultra is designed for the extremely dry skin.
would it be oily and hardly be absorbed?
another question,don't laugh at me,please
i tried cellcosmet contour creme, but it did nothing to my fine lines, bags, uneven tone skin under my eye.
so could i use the face moisturiser for eye purpose?
thanks a lot |

Personally, I believe that it is only an excellent moisterizer. That is it.
For wrinkles I would add to my regime...
Vitamin C and if needed Botox and Restalyn(sp?)
for preventing skin sagging...
I was thinking but never tried it; Neova or AlphaDerma
Cellcosmet moisterizer is not for oily skin. When I used to have greasy oily skin...normally in the summer when it is humid...I used Cetaphil gentle cleanser as a moisterizer. It does not dry out your skin at all or do anything weird.
What my routine was before and sort of still do this in the summer is wash with gentle Cetaphil, wait for a few minutes, apply Vivier Vitamin C or Cellex-C Vitamin C, then applied my Skinceuticals UV Defense SPF 30. I found the sunblock to double up as a moisterizer. Then at night, I would use what ever was needed. For example, one summer, I had a dark tan above my upper lip, so at night I used this gel...don't remember the name...but from Skinceuticals to lighten my skin.
Now, my skin is combination because I am taking medication for my acne. The side affect is getting dry skin. I still can get acne, but the prescribed Vitamin A help unclog my pores. I personally find that the Ulta Vital is good moisterizer and perfect for the winter. Like today, it is cold and when the snow hits your face, it stings because it is so cold and hits your face so hard. In the past, that would make my skin more sensitive and make my skin peel but I would still have nasty acne. It was so frustrating for me. Now I don't have that problem because the moisterizer is doing it's job.
If you really want to use Ultra Vital and you do have some congested area on your face, why don't you invest in a good BHA (strong) to be used every day or during your hormonal monthly and then apply Ulta Vital, then your sunblock. Or use AHA, then apply Ultra Vital, then your sunblock.
Let me know what you decide and let me know how it is working for you. Be sure to give your new routine three months to see the results.
BTW, so far I have not read from anyone stating that the got allergic reaction to Ultra Vital moisterizer. I would not worry about that. I would only worry if it could clog your pores and maybe adding a BHA can help prevent the clogging. |

bha ,aha sounds good, but my skin may not be so strong as to endure them.
my skin history:sensitive to mango(i ate a lot and my face broke out (many red blemishes),my head just like a pig head at that time)
from then on,my skin become too sensitive to use any products contain strong ingredients.
so i think just a little vital ultra is enough for my whole face including the eye zone.
i would try cellcosmet's different cell concentrated moisturizer.
its perfume is much better than i have heard before.
thanks a lot |

Lara1 I have very sensitive skin and tried the Cellcosmet Tonic twice and it definetly irritated my skin. I also did not like how my skin felt after using it-sort of sticky and it felt like any product that I applied afterwards did not get absorbed well. So I just did not like it. In her book "The Skin Type Solution", Dr. Baumann lists the second ingredient in this product (Ricinoleth-40) as an ingredient that those of us with sensitive skin should avoid. I know that most if not all the Cellcosmet products contain this ingredient but not in such a high concentration as the toner. I would say that if you have sensitive skin then definetly get a sample of the Tonic first! |

I was told that Cellcosmet Concentrate day & night cream is stronger then Ultra Vital. The sales person said that is for really dry skin and I don't have that. If I got a sample of it, I would use it in the winter when I go skiing or cleaning the snow off the driveway.
If your skin cannot tolerate BHA, even when used every other day, maybe it is time to see a dermotologist.
I no longer use Cetaphil gentle cleanser as a moisterizer because my skin is not oily. I guess if I went camping & hiking in the summer, I would double it as a cleanser and moisterizer, then apply my sunblock. |

The Ultra Vital is the most highly concentrated cream with 24% of active stabilised biointegral cells, in the Cellcosmet range, the concentrated night has 17% whilst the con day has 15.3%. I have used and love all of the cream. I do love the Ultra vital and do incorporate into my routine every few months.
