This autumn, I switched from Bare Minerals foundation to GloMinerals; mostly because I was curious to try something new. The esthetician in the salon matched my skin to the shade honey light, and I thought it looked ok, and bought the GloPressed Base in that shade.

Later on, I also purchased the loose fdt, in the same shade, but I find, I can't wear it at all, because it is way too yellow, and only makes me look tired.

But they are the same shade! Are my eyes deceiving me, or has anyone else had a similar experience? It doesn't have to be Glo, but MMU in general?

Yes, theres is often a slight difference in colour between powder, pressed and liquid mineral foundation. I guess it's because the formulation for liquid/pressed/loos foundation is different?

I had a similar thing happen with Jane Iredale loose vs. pressed powder. I wear the lightest shade in the loose powder, but had to go up one shade in the pressed powder (and it still looks a bit too light on me, but it's a decent match). I don't know the reason why that happens; just wanted to let you know you are not alone on this.

Thanks, guys Very Happy
At least I know it's not just my eyes. Because I admit, I do have the slightest tendency to over-analyze things.... Embarassed
