ok so this is not the most lovely topic to talk about but I just had a yeast infection and have taken the 3 day canesten cream for yeast infections. I've gone to the doctor and I dont have any std's however i still get discharge even though it's not around the time of my period. Is this normal? |

As what a gynae. once wrote 'It's not a desert down there.'so it's normal to have discharge. As women, we have to monitor our discharge. Is it foul smelling? Is it causing irritation? |

If it doesn't have an odor it should be ok. After having 3 kids, I feel much more in tune w/ my body. I now know that when I have a heavy mucus discharge it means I'm ovulating - about 7-10 days after start of my period. It's suppose to make it easier for the sperm to get where they need to be! I know - too MUCH info |

A great book to read up on if you want to learn more about your body and your cycle is "Taking Charge of Your Fertility". It talks all about how discharge changes throughout your cycle.

I second that book! It's wonderful, a must read for all women.
BCgirl- women have discharge throughout their entire cycle, what you are experiencing sounds very normal. |
