Any one has used the Zeno Acne Treatment Device? How is it? |

I was soooo close to selling mine the other day, and I'm glad I didn't because I got a couple of nasty zits the next day (probably sent by the zeno-demons trying to punish me for my betrayal).
I like it ok, it works pretty well for keeping pimples out of disaster zone. It really only works on a specific type though -- generally the bigger ones that aren't cystic that will come to a head after 3-4 days. Zeno either sort of subdues them and they shrink back down (although I wouldn't say totally gone...they just never get huge) or it brings them to a head in a day or so.
I wouldn't get it if you think it will actually prevent zits from forming. It's more like crisis mitigation. And if you're really fussy about your skin (like me) that's a good enough reason as any to have one around.
The thing I like best about it is I don't pick as much because the Zeno doesn't really work after you've badgered your zit too much. |

I'm really interested if anyone else has used the Zeno & if they like it. Any input would be appreciated. |

Hahahhaha, the Zeno demons! Thanks waffle, I needed that! But seriously folks...
I have one of these babies, and I totally agree with waffle--- it's crisis mitigation. it does help, but ONLY if you catch the offending zit just as it's forming AND if you don't badger it. (That's a tall order for me--- I badger those SOBs like it's my job!) |

You might also consider the dermastyle light by Lumiport. It is available at Costco in the US for $99 (I have seen it on other sites at $149) and doesn't require the expensive refills that the Zeno does. It uses red and blue light to both treat and prevent blemishes. My kids use it and seem to think it helps prevent and speed healing of acne. |

I really like my Zeno. As waffle and manslayerliz said, it works best on the pimples that are just forming. When you can feel them just starting to form under your skin, that's the best time. If you do have a full blown pimple, I've found that it will still shorten it's lifespan and heal more quickly. |

I agree with this, it works well for the inflamed ones. I've been using it for a few months, definitely worth getting for somebody who gets a few breakouts a month. |
