Hi guys!
Im From Australia and have just ordered Bare escentuals foundation and eye shadow/blush kits. I didnt order a brush, i wasnt sure if the brushes they sold were specifically designed for that make-up or weather you could just use your own brush? Any feedback would be good, so i know if i have to buy the Bare escentuals brush or if i can spend that money on other things!!! |

Hi Jade-Lee,
I thought the same way . . . I thought "Why buy such an expensive brush for powder?" But au contraire . . . my other brushes didn't work at all with the bare minerals for some reason. So definitely buy the brush. You can get them for cheaper on ebay (make sure they will ship to Australia). You can also order the make-up sets -- those give you 2 or 3 brushes and overall, the price for the package makes everything a LOT cheaper. So I would suggest going onto ebay to the buy the Bare Escentuals brush. That's where I got mine when I first started using Bare Escentuals. I got it for $9 instead of $25 retail.
Not sure why the brush is so great but it just soaks up the minerals better and helps the buffing process.
