Here is the link I got mine from just yesterday - I bought 4 bottles 8oz each (32oz total) for $49 plus $8 shipping only. Its wonderful. I filled a small flip top bottle with the oil for every day use and put the rest in the freezer to keep fresh.
I dont see a reason to pay $30 for 1oz - I think emu is overpriced at high end skincare companies. JMO

Thanks for the link. They don't specify what type of emu oil it is. Grade A, ultra..etc. I would definitely use this for the body, for the face though I'll stick to something a little bit more money. |

Wish I knew about this earlier. I just received a 16 oz bottle from my usual source in the States at a pretty good price but still way more than this.
I’ve been using emu oil from the same supplier for years, and recently spent quite some time researching the various types/refining standards/suppliers just to see if I was missing out on something and frankly couldn’t find anything to justify the vastly higher price for “ultra” oil or the widely quoted claims of “increasing anti-inflammatory activity by 45%”. If anybody has this info I would love to know about it Or maybe not, as my skincare bill will then go through the roof with the amount of emu I use
Personally, I’m more concerned about hormones, antibiotics, etc, used in raising the birds, rather than some mysterious refining process that the ultra retailers won’t provide any specific details of. Some of the US retailers do provide info on the hormones/antibiotics issue. I note this website DDM cites that their Australian sourced oil is “primarily” free-ranged, which I imagine would be a good thing, but there is that qualifier “primarily”.
Well I think I’ll give this DDM a try for my next order and see how it goes. Thanks for the link! |
